The Raiders are good against the run and poor against the pass. If Ben and the guys that catch the ball are on the same page Steelers win.
The Steeler Defense has demonstrated it can contain high scoring offenses.
Whatever dysfunction happened to the offense after the first drive against the Bengals last week, I hope it has been isolated and fixed!

With the season half over, the Steelers find themselves up against the wall with a terrible 1-4 AFC conference record. A loss here, combined with a win from the teams trailing us for a wild card spot ( Buffalo, Miami, Kanas City ) would easily downgrade the Steelers chance from earning a wild card spot. A Kansas City win would be the worst as they beat us head to head.

The good news is the Steelers tend to respond well in these regular season type of games when we are at home. The Steelers have some matchup advantages vs a very poor. Oakland's pass defense is ranked 31st, giving up an average 302.1 yards per game, and there pass rush rated in the bottom 1/3 as well.

I predict a big passing day for the Steelers.

Goat: I would say run defense, but I think Oakland may have to abandon their run to play catch up, so I'll say Blake gives up too many completions.

Outcome: Steelers 27, Raiders 17
