Reminds me of the game where we almost blanked them back in Cowher's early years. It was a defining game for his young team in beating a tough KC team away, 27-3 in a Sunday night game. I still have that game on tape.

I remember that game, my parents let me stay up to watch it. It was awesome

KC still has a dominant pass rush with Hali and Houston and that worries me greatly. We will need to throw the ball quickly and not let these guys get into the backfield.

I don't think KC's offense is scaring anyone with Charles out and Maclin hurting now. This has the makings of a trap game for us. We need to execute and take care of the ball.

Steelers have a history of playing wacky games at Arrowhead. (I'm still pissed about losing to KC and Montana in the playoffs in '93, Cowher's second season.)

Unfortunately, this will be more of the same:

Chiefs 20, Steelers 16.

KC always plays us tough for some reason. I think we win, but not by much. I'll be there- and for every game I've been at, we've won. So there's that.

I think we all know Kanas City is a bad football team. On offense, they are toothless. Defensively they can be good.

Coming off an emotional high win over Arizona, I think the Steelers need to be carefull in this game.

For whatever reason, Tomlin's teams tend to lose more than they should vs inferior opposition. This time, we have a 3rd string QB playing ( Well he's 2nd string now ) and a good looking, but almost completely untested new starter at Left Tackle.

A conservative game plan of run the ball, play good defense, and pin them back on special teams is needed. Yes-- our punter and kicker have been reasons why we have won. Let Landry Jones be a game manager, and throw it on play action, or short for the most part.

Above all else avoid turnovers.

AB has a huge game with the return of Bryant and KCs defense making a point to shut him down. Bryant still gets a TD.
 
If there was ever a trap game this is it. The Steelers will be looking ahead to Cincy and KC is not an easy place to win at no matter the records. Still think we get the W but it will not be easy.

Can there be a trap game with Landry as QB? Possibly. Will be ugly. good guys win 15-12.

Playing on the road against a great pass rush and they had a week to prepare for Landry Jones, won't be pretty. Much harder starting a game than coming off the bench with no expectations. Also don't like the matchup of Houston versus Villanueva on the blind side. Chiefs have lost to 3 unbeaten teams in close games, they are better than their record.
 
KC's defense rises against a "3rd Stringer"!
Jones checks down faster than Ben and KC will be forced to cover 5 receivers out of their base 3-4. Bell/ Williams run wild. Villanueva proves his worth (hopefully). Maybe the Stillers D could even score a few, Smith hasn't thrown an int yet so tomorrow he's due.
Should be fun Steelers should win unless Tomlin takes his foot off the gas!
Who cares about the score, get the W and everybody home healthy, the Bengals are coming.

Those pass rushers are banged up /Steelers have a damn good O-line (although banged up at two positions) so much that they are one slot ahead of the Steelers at 25th in pass D.
 
I like their banged up pass rushers better than Jones , Villanueva and Foster. Miller will have to stay in and block and he is the only receiver who really threatens the middle of the field, should be an interesting game.
