OFFICIAL PREDICTION THREAD - Game 7 - Steelers vs. Texans

No huddle and quick passes to whoever can catch and effectively running the ball is their only chance for a W
Otherwise a loss on MNF and Tomlin gets lots of "deer in the headlights" face time on national TV! Rooks are starting? Yoi and Double Yoi!!
Right now who even gives a **** about the score.

Texans 14

hi

Texans 23
Steelers 13

Ben may need to soak in a tub for a month.

JJ Watt has a field day, and the Texans crank the defense..

Steelers 16

Texans 24

But it won't be that close.

Steelers 23
Texans 20

Once the D ***** the bed again and the Steelers are down 21, JJ Watt might get into double digits for sacks. 6 games in everyone knows what you're going to see Sunday. We could have 20 penalties , false starts trying to get an edge on watt and holding on watt. Not to mention the weekly 2-3 pass interferences, couple personal fouls. 2-3 turnovers . This team couldn't give two *****. Just like TOmlin. Style points don't matter

Steelers 6

Texans 41

Texans will have 6 sacks by halftime. 10 total. Clowney may be coming back for this game, also, so they'll have a fun time with our Oline and Ben holding on too long.

Someone mentioned all we have to do is contain Arian Foster to win. Unfortunately, the only thing we suck at worse than stopping the run is catching interceptions. Fitzpatrick also played well against us with a lesser quality team (Bills) and fought back to almost win in overtime (Johnson dropped the pass in the end zone), so all the talk about "Just stop Arian." and "Fitz sucks" have some serious Steeler glasses on right now.

Score won't matter. I'll be pissed off and drunk by the second series.

You sound like a Texans fan.

no he sounds like a steelers fan who watched this team stink up the place versus cleveland. Its hard to make Cleveland stink more than it already does.

You make some good points but I do not think Ben will be holding the ball to long, I think he will have fumbles early along with interceptions, because he will get hit as he throws or while he is getting ready to throw. Beechum will look like dri archer at left tackle. Gilbert will be worse he will look like Gilbert at right tackle, the doobie brothers will likely play like they are still stoned, and our defense will look like they only have nine men on the field, but other than that everything will be just fine.

Oddsman have us at 3 point favorites interesting....

Steelers haven't come close to stopping the zone run game and Houston is the best at it. If you can't stop the run then it's hard to see how the steelers win. It makes all those play action passes so easy.

The Steelers only shot is turnovers which could happen because for a Harvard guy, Fitzpatrick doesn't always play smart. The problem is who is going to make those plays in the secondary for the steelers? Nobody seems the most likely answer.

Time for a little perspective on Ryan "Headed to Canton" Fitzpatrick:

http://www.houstonchronicle.com/spo...trick-not-the-answer-when-game-is-5828499.php

He may not be headed to the HOF but he could still beat this team handily. The Steelers are not very good this year and are poorly coached, so lets not fool ourselves that we are world beaters.
Past performance is the best indicator for future predictions and in the recent past our team has been really bad.

The Steelers are capable of winning by 20 (Panthers) or losing by 20 (Ravens, Browns).

I've followed them, and the NFL, long enough to know that we have no idea how the game - or even the rest of the season - will turn out. So I'm not yet ready to join the gloom-and-doomers...

Steelers continue their roller coaster

win
