Official ***** & Moan thread after a Victory

We are terrible, especially our offense, defense and special teams.

And the coaches. They are (*^)ing terrible too.

i can tell a call for optimism when I see one so here goes:

Maybe another AFC team will knock the Patriots out of the playoffs and none of this disappointing play will ever catch up to the Steelers!
I think there is some reason for optimism. There is a lot of room for improvement and if Ben could play better at the end of the season he will always give you a punchers chance. Jax will likely end up a wildcard team. Them and KC would be very dangerous teams to the Pats. You beat the Pats with defense and both those teams can really play D. If it came down to Steelers/ Pats I have less than a 20% hope. I think the Steelers definitely have the defense to beat them, I just think that the Steeelrs are an are what we are team. The Pats will get a look at them and will have every angle covered. Honestly in my opinion the Steelers are better off finishing second in the conference or even a home wildcard. I think that would more likely set up the Pats against a dangerous wild card defense. But lots of work to do before that happens.

My point was that I wish I could be optimistic about the Steelers beating the Patriots twice this year. We have the talent, we lack the execution. I wouldn’t put it past Belichick to not show his hand in the upcoming regular season game and take a loss, and then completely school Tomlin in the playoffs (yet again).

Tough way to win a game. Injuries are not something we needed going into a short week. Titans will be a tough opponent at home. Luckily the next 2 are at home and we have this string of several primetime games in a row.

******* every time during a game I pour myself a beer it’s empty. Wtf is up with that ****.
