Official ***** & Moan thread after a Victory

Ben should never have thrown that ball to Bryant. He was well covered when he released it.

Williams had a clean strip tackle. I've never seen a ref rule forward progress stopped on a 1 on 1 tackle ever. Horrible call and the ref should be suspended for that assessment.

Bryant is never allowed to run the ball again. I've said this earlier in the year, and he does what receivers on end arounds should never do...give up ground when running laterally.

Both TDs, Mitchell was nowhere near the play, when if he was mindful of the situations, he should have been. Horrible.

Burns broke his leg, however, breaks can heal in 8 weeks which gets him ready for our first playoff game after the bye!

Haley must stop calling these running plays that take a long time to develop behind the line of scrimmage.

Williams stripped the ball cleanly. Why did the refs give it back to the Colts?

You mean Haden broke his leg.

WTF happened with Omar?

A ref ruled the RB's forward progress was stopped. So he was ruled down....and no fumble.

This may be true but Ben does the same to AB & now JuJu, Bryant didn't even make a play on it & HUNTER would have combated for it.

No doubt about the horrible call. Gotta keep the game close to keep the VIEWERS...........

OOpppsI've thought these Bryant end arounds have always been a disaster waiting..........WHY not give Conner's the ball and involved. M.Bryant just isn't there mentally or something isn't clicking above the shoulders.Ooopps

What happen to the "blow up" hits of his??? Not only is he MIA but so is is hits

Bad deal for Haden as I think he is arguably our best CB

The end around to Bryant could of been a big play if the DE to that side was blocked or didnt sniff it out. He forced it wide.

i can tell a call for optimism when I see one so here goes:

Maybe another AFC team will knock the Patriots out of the playoffs and none of this disappointing play will ever catch up to the Steelers!

Burns gives up seven, then lack of coverage allows Colts to get field goal, 10-0. Killer Bees had smoke on them most of game, 100 yards first half, Coaches yelling **** you , time outs on extra point and then delay of game with Bell thinking of his celebration instead of lining up in correct position. Tomlin with the look, poor poor poor execution from the offense. If that is Bitching the Steelers yesterday had it coming.

7-2

I remember the 1989 Steelers very well. That team had Bubby Brister at QB, Merrill Hodge as the primary RB, got blown out in their 1st two games against division rivals by a combined score of 92-10, was a young team ... and just kept getting better. Noll got as much out of that team as it had to give. AFC Championship game, where they lost by 1 at Denver to a team QB'ed by Elway.

That is all I can ask of a team - perform to its highest level. Get the most out of the talent pool.

My observation is that the 2017 Steelers have not yet obtained the most from a very, very talented roster. Too many wasted possessions, wasted drives, turnovers, blown assignments, playing down to very bad opposition, and just a failure to produce to the team's talent level. What's more, with Bell's contract situation and Ben's looming retirement, the failure to get the most out of this team does not bode well when the talent level is not as high.

7-2 and still improving. Dont want to peak too soon. We have time to get better hopefully. New guys injuries on offense and defense. We have time to get better

Agree and that time is narrowing but 7-2 is pretty good spot to be in.
