Normally I would agree but based on what I have watched he is way better in pass protection than I was led to believe and you know he can maul the **** out of people and get you the holes for the hard yards. I'm not sure if I saw him miss a single blitz pickup and he was frequently moving and cutting the angle before the defender. If they are projecting him to tackle then it is a stupid pick if hey play in him inside - look out.
 
I didn't want Johnson but I fear that means another team jumps on Peters before our pick now. Hopefully the Eagles take Byron Jones. For some reason I can see him being our pick.

17 the niners are picking with lots of turnover and lots of needs pick Arik Armstead this guy looks like at best a project so maybe they can develop him.
 
Could Byron Jones be in the talk here? Great kid. Lots of upside. No distractions. Three brothers in the service USMC USN and Army.
 
Ha! Armstead is the reason I don't think that Peat translates well to the NFL. Just posted that earlier.

They had to get some help up front - especially since they'll be the bottom feeders in their division this year...

If we go CB, looking like Byron Jones would be the pick

Dupree, Gregory, Ray could all be there when the Steelers pick,plus Peters and Collins too.

I just hope its not Ray. Too slow
 
Sooo any chance we take Shane Ray if he's there?? Probably not.. Dupree and Gregory have bust written all over them IMO.

I'm glad they picked him as the guys that I want the steelers to take are moving down the board.
 
Why do you think Gregory is a bust? I think he's the best pass rusher in the draft. I think he'd be great for us

I'd take Dupree out of that group, and Jones would be a welcome addition to our defensive backfield, I'd be happy with either pick. Too bad we can't get both.

Hell no - Peters is the better option at DB; but, I like Ray the best...

And there goes Peters to KC...!@#$%^&*
