Official Draft Day Thread - Day One, 30 April 2015

Who do the Browns take? They got some nice players sitting there, hopefully the are true to form and pick a bust.

Waynes would've looked great in black & gold. But that was a pipe dream, I think we all knew that...

Browns will take Parker ... They need a stud WR with the Gordon suspension.

Gurley is a stud, mason and Stacy are nice players that's it.

Understood, so now they have a nice stable of running backs. They also have plenty of holes to fill up and down the roster...but Gurley's a stud and worth the pick for sure.

:clowns::help: 12 the stains are on the clock:whistle: Boomer says what they touched turns to stone , they picked Danny Shelton :clowns:

Somebody has to take some more of these WRs ... remove the temptation.

Wow no wr for the Clowns....who need an offense....LOL

So you saw my earlier post of going WR in the 1st?

Nope, but the idea has been batted around a few times. Especially after Colbert brought a few in and reiterated the BPA approach.

We've beat this horse to death - had Gurley not hurt his knee - he'd have been the Heismann winner and probably in the top 3 off the board this year...

I have no problem with Gurley. It's the position he plays. RBs don't last long in the NFL and their importance overall has diminished over the years. The Steelers won a SB with Willie Parker and an aged Bettis. Then won another one with Parker and Mewelde Moore. The pats** won the SB with 4 different RBs with none of them over 420 yards of rushing. I think Gurley is great but the position is not as important as it use to be.

Pouncey's gonna have his hands full with this kid...may need some guard help...Munchak will have an answer, I trust.

I think Gurley is great but the position is not as important as it use to be.

And one of many things that suck about today's NFL. RBs don't get drafted in the 1st round, but teams use multiple 1st rounder within a few years trying to get a decent QB.

Cleveland might of finally got one right.

Pick 13 for the aints :gopitt: Andrus Peat this kid looks like a good tackle from the highlights.
