Odell Beckham

Kick the tires, tell him we are not interested in Walmart tires when we already have Kelly Springfield tires on the roster…..

Come on not this guy! I do think we need a legit no. 2 but stick a fork in him. He’s done!

No on OBJ

There’s a big risk anyone that gets added this late is in great danger of falling victim to the classic Tomlin cliche of “it’s hard to jump on a moving train”…that’s on fire headed off a cliff with volunteers and a couple of hostages…

$35 million in unused cap space…the time to act for a real WR2 in free agency was long ago, now a lot of that money sits this year, just like last year

If over the hill OBJ is the best they can get, they should pass and see what they have in Roman Wilson, most of us are fully aware this isn’t a Super Bowl team, might as well see what Wilson can do if they won’t pursue a real WR2 solution

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. The dude made a boatload of money because of one hilight catch on SNF early in his career. Just like Clowney did with one big hit in college. No, No, NO!!!!! Don’t do it Steelers. Please stop playing Madden in real life and get back to what brought sustained success for 50 YEARS!

My chief concern about the wrs is only if DK goes down... we are supposedly using 2rb 2Te 1wr as base.. and a lot of 3 or 4 te sets
Instead of screaming for 5 wide we will likely be begging for 2 wide more often than not...

Some are saying Amari Cooper would be a more viable option.

I do think we need a better WR2 than what’s currently on the roster, but more for if DK goes down to injury or Law breaking.

CA3 isn’t the answer, he’s OK while DK is active but would NOT be a v iable #1 if called upon.

Roman Wilson falls into the CA3 category as well currently. Get a yr under his belt and maybe he becomes way more legit to a #1 or #2.

At this time, Robert Woods is just as good as an option without the drama. Heck, I would bite the Amari Cooper apple because the guy could possibly make 1 or 2 big catches a game and could be good for a short spurt to fill ina few games as WR1. But I wouldn’t expect much more out of him. OBJ is just a name and not a viable receiving threat anymore.

OBJ?

Well hell.... anybody got AB on speed dial? Might as well give him a call too.

AB is currently living abroad, he has an arrest warrant waiting for him here in the good O’l USA, upon his return.

I've never liked DK or Rodgers. But they are Steelers and will say right things at least till the Tomlin led team implodes. But I draw line at Beckham. Wasn't he at the Diddy freak offs?

OBJ is a non participant in blocking so he probably wouldnt be a fit for the O... plus he isnt gonna come play virtually no snaps... remember we will probably run more 1wr formations than the rest of the league together this season 🤦🏻‍♂️🤣
Yinz know those huge forks you stick in the turkeys and or hams when they are done?

Yeah…..

While Clowney didn’t necessarily live up to the hype of his draft stock he’s had a very solid career in the league. Went to 3 consecutive pro bowls, 4 seasons of 9 or 9.5 sacks (58 total).

Your being a tad dramatic

I think people put too much emphasis on 3, 4, or 5 WR being on the field. I myself prefer a more balanced unpredictable set. THIS YEAR they have the horses to go 3 TE, 1 WR, 1 RB. All 5 can catch the ball, all can block and those extra TE's will pay dividends in the run game that 4 WR & 1 RB will not. IF the line comes together like we hope that 1 WR, 3 TE, 1 RB base set could be unstoppable.

I agree with that statement, I just meant to hear some people talk over the years you’d of thought the guy was an all timer. Odell was a solid player too. Some people just went a little overboard in his praises over that catch.
