One of my most memorable visions of Dolphin STEELERS football was early Heinz field sod,...... The punt where the ball struck nose first into the turf. Grant it it was terenchial rains days leading up to the game but still pretty impressive.

Can the Fitz majic do anything against our take away defense? I can't believe I said "take away". How about Mason's first game back after long rest?

I see us holding them with multiple sacks (5) and three other take always.

On offense, Rudolph gets it going with 321yrds, 3 TD, NO picks. I also see a 100 yrd rusher.

What say you

I think an easy win. I love the way our defense is playing. We can beat any team with a defense like this.

lets say Conner will hit 100yards running and 50 yards receiving. Then we get some Benny Snell football.

If any team can underachieve and lose to the Dolphins it would be Tomlin with his historically horrible record against sub .500 teams, how many years now they choke up a loss like this every year.

But this game being on Monday Night and at home I still give the edge to a lukewarm Steelers team that should be able to win this one.

Cautiously optimistic

And with the Browns playing the Pats, a loss there and our win will drop them below us in the crowded AFCN cellar

LOL...another Belushi moment DIC ? I ain't seein' an exciting game comin' up Mon but there are some areas that I would like to see come around. This should be like a pre-season scrimmage more than a do or die scramble to the play-offs. We'll see.

The offense needs some serious work, the running game is almost nonexistent and our receivers need to find some open field. Continued pressure from the defense after losing Tuit and expanding the role for Fitz along with some consistency from Mason and I'll be a happy camper.

Not lookin for anything crazy, just improvement across the board without a trap game drama.

Oh yeah, I remember that punt.....

Looking forward to Rudolph picking up where he left off, playing sound football. The defense seems to be on an upward trajectory, same with Conner/Snell & the run game. Looking forward to a lot of energy and gusto from the team at Heinz Field, in their color rush uni's on MNF. Can't wait for this game, been a looong two weeks.

We will see if Rudolph has any rust from that hit. We need to establish the run game with Conner and Snell. It would be really nice to see him get Juju more involved on offense.

We aren't intimidated by flipper, then again...

no team is.

I would say if you cannot win at home after a bye week against an opponent that essentially mailed in their season at week one................. well I pretty much think that says it all.

Does Ryan Fitzpatrick actually scare anyone? I know he's looked good in the past but his team has not much fight in it. Our D should be able to handle it smoothly. My main concern is our coaching and preparedness / game plan.

Should be no reason the Steelers don't win this game, the Dolphins would do themselves a big favor by coming in here and beating us, thus helping make that pick from us get a little higher. They still have the Bengals to play, they can tank that one and get the #1 overall still.

No, he shouldn't, but Tim Tebow and Blake Bortles shouldn't scare anyone either.

Interesting stat...

For some reason backup quarterbacks on bad teams scare me.
