NY Dems choose Socialist for mayoral candidate

I hate that place. My ex sister-in-law lived in Manhattan and I had to go there a few times. This was shortly before and after 9/11. The noise, stench and crowds were almost unbearable. Constant horn honking and car alarms, all the time. I'm sure it's even worse now with all the trash, drugs and commies. One cool thing though is in 2002 I went to Trump Tower. Saw the escalator and atrium. I remember thinking man this is cool. That guy's a badass. Little did I know that he would end up basically being the leader of the world.

A few months back we went to visit my son on Long Island, and for some god forsaken reason the GPS took us through Manhattan rather than the usual route we’ve always traveled.
Pretty much what you described. What a hell hole. Stop and go every 15 ft.
And people do this every freaking day.
Should have not listened to the GPS.
 
I'd ship them all out to the middle east. **** their god and culture.


 
Just build a wall around NYC and LA and trap the stupidity inside... if we ever need anything out of those hellholes, Kurt Russel is still around to go get it...

I was going to make a long thread about the current communist infiltration these dips are trying to pull.. but i got lazy..

The issue is faulty poll logic and dems being generally ****** at math...

Let me summarize...left wing looneys overstepped their bounds the past two decades and drove moderates out of the party... that drove up the percentage of people who would accept socialism replacing capitalism... among dems its at 62%...

But Dems cant understand how the biases in polls work... so they still think there are more Dems and Dem leaning voters in the country...

This is a fairly easy thing to quantify... certain polls have a pretty consistent track record of overstating Dem registered voter numbers.. and you see that in final voting numbers.. this in turn leads to incorrect poll sampling .. only 30 states actually release registered voter numbers, so 20 states worth are basically guesstimates...

Moreover, more voters are independent than republican or Democrat... only like 28-30% of the voters are registered as dem and 29-31% are Republican.

40-42 are independent... or a third party.. the most reasonable breakdown seems to be 17 or 18% of total voters are Indy's who lean dem
16 or 17% lean republican, and 7-8% are true centrists

The problem is the gallup and pew polls about socialism overstate the moderate and republicans that support socialism as an option... some polls insinuate as much as 35% of republicans are open to expanded socialism... and you only have to casually mingle in any group of Repubs to know that's just absurd... they mostly fear it like death itself at an insanely high percentage...

this has led an overzealous far left to think they have a path to national victory... and this is stoked by their victories in liberal strongholds like New York and DC..

The issue is going to be that in reality socialism expanded beyond where it currently has less than 40% support across the country.

As they expand the more communistic ideals into the mainstream party platform, they are gonna do what the tea party did for conservatives only on steroids...

The other thing is as more high profile openly communistic and socialistic politicians get power, the flaws and ugly parts of their ideology get exposed...

For instance, people always thought going green energy meant replacing fossil fuel with an equal amount of power from clean energy, but thats not a currently realistic, instead they just expect us to use less power... ac's set to 80 in california... 78 in New york... less driving, less access to utilities in general...

If they continue down this path, they are gonna get nationally routed in a few years time...

Its the old story where a group biding their time makes some progress then grows impatient and burns it all up charging ahead too fast when its not really the way they think things are...
