All things that most Christians allow aside from abortion which is a whole other topic. Some Christians don't drink(in public) but it is pretty rare they are trying to ban others from drinking. It is a basic tenant of Islam. Jesus drank wine for Christs sake. Most aside from a few don't give a **** about same sex marriage as long as churches are forced to perform it. Try to do that in an Islamic country. You are a ******* joke.

I hope he mandates burkas for all of them. People today have no idea what they are really voting for because all they have to go by are the propaganda they are being fed. Sometimes you have to learn the hard way.

Sharia law may be ultra-conservative (at least when it comes to social issues), but that doesn't change the fact that Muslims in the West who are pushing for Sharia law almost exclusively align themselves with "progressive" movements and political parties, enablers in the west who are on board with the idea of Muslims being able to invoke Sharia law are on the "progressive" side of the political spectrum and people in the west who protest on behalf of Sharia law based regimes in other parts of the world are nearly all "progressives".

I think if anyone is against freedom to consume alcohol it is your side of the political spectrum.

So devils advocate here... marxist mayor raises taxes to unfathomable levels= all wealthy people and businesses mover out of new york city, right? I mean some innovative city should offer low tax alternatives to move... steal all that tax money for nothing

Jesus drank "new wine" which is unfermented or essentially grape juice. The last supper had new wine.

according to whom? That is not what I have been taught. Your belief is based on interpretations of the NKJ bible translation. Likely done by those who's agenda wanted to ban alcohol consumption. There is ample evidence in the bible that he did in fact drink alcohol in moderation as he was accused of being a drunk. since none of us were there and this is all based on man's translations none of us can be sure.
  • Scripture implies that Jesus did drink alcohol in Luke 7:33-34 since religious leaders falsely accused Him of being a drunkard: "For John the Baptist has come eating no bread and drinking no wine, and you say, 'He has a demon.' The Son of Man has come eating and drinking, and you say, 'Look at him! A glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners!'"
