I'm just sayin..
i'm just sayin..
If that was the case, why the hell didn't they offer him up on a deal to move up in the 2nd? Now, maybe they did, maybe they didn't. We will never know. However, even if this kid is extremely talented, there's no need here. Should we expect about the same amount of production from him as we did lance Moore or justin brown? This pick is a head scratcher to me.

Steelers use 3 WR as their main formation. If one of them gets injured then you are either playing DHB or you scrap the 3 WR set and have to change your whole offense.
Also, Antonio is already looking for more money. Good chance they can't keep him in a few years so you need replacements.
That's the logic of the pick but i don't understand why they are more worried about a 4th WR when they don't even have 2 quality CBs.
you had me until you had Antonio leaving...... I don't see that happening. He already is in camp which showed me he is willing to work with the Steelers now and more than likely down the road too.
I get what you guys are all saying, I just don't see the need for it. Would've rather they took Amos. I feel the need for safety greatly outweighs the need for another receiver.

They must be comfortable with Shamarko. It's hard for us to know how good Shamarko is since we don't see practice. He's been a bit injury prone, and they were never going to sit Troy as long as he was here, so you can't really read to much into Thomas' lack of playing time. I'll say one thing, this offense is going to be something else.
We should expect better. Brown was a never was and Moore was winding down into retirement.

Five wide *******! /Spike
i'm sure Antonio would want to stay here but they may not have the cap room to make him the highest paid WR in the league which is likely what he will be looking for in his next contract.
They may not be able to afford Martavis if he keeps going like this. They had to let Wallace leave. They'll likely have to let either Brown or Bryant leave.
