Now AB blames Tomlin

I don't think AB has a clue to what he wants or doesn't want. Remember shortly after season ended he said he was going to hold a news conference and the truth would all be told.............. still waiting and I didn't misunderstand him then and I don't now........... NEED HEALTH EXAMINATION to determine delay assholemengitous.

AB is confused

My dream scenario:
-AB is a Steeler, team-first mentality, and happy as a clam
-Bell is a Steeler, paid well but not too well, team-first, and happy as a clam
-Ben is a Steeler, team-first, only calls out players productively and in private
-Tomlin is traded and someone new is coaching them to the SB

A guy can dream right?

That's not a dream. That's a fantasy. :)

I'm still waiting for someone to tell me where Ben called anyone out??????

Brown and Washington after Denver this year.

October 2017 he called out Brown for a temper tantrum. Tomlin and Haley also had things to say about Brown's antics. https://pittsburgh.cbslocal.com/201...er-tantrum-its-unfortunate-he-acted-that-way/

January 2017 after the AFC Championship game he mentioned some of Brown's antics and pouting. https://www.pennlive.com/steelers/index.ssf/2017/01/antonio_brown_pouting_roethlisberger.html

That's it in 15 years, unless you want to include his passive aggressive comments toward Haley. Meanwhile, you can find Ben commenting that it was his fault after a ton of the teams losses over the years, even when he played well. And really, is what he said about Brown any worse than Brady screaming at his teammates in plain view on the sidelines, with all of the cameras on him? Ben's criticism as at least constructive when Brady is flat out embarrassing other guys yelling at them in public view.

Ben didn't call anyone out that didn't deserve it and what he said wasn't insulting but constructive. NOT everything can be BEN's fault and he has taken the blame for so much NOT his fault yet that never gets mentioned. I'm on record for saying we have one of the greatest all time QBs in the NFL. T*mmy b*y with the cheating can't be compared as how much was cheating ability and how much was honest Abe ability. HOW many years did Ben have a bottom tier OL yet produced. Rogers / Manning / br*dy would have all been "BROKEN IN HALF" had they played behind that 5 year stretch. I feel sorry for those who continually KNOCK Ben as when he is gone, then they can really knock the replacement QB as he will be less than BEN.

Those who did not live through the stretch from Bradshaw to Ben are likely the quickest to discredit him. Franchise QBs don't just pop out of the woodwork

You've got that right. I don't give a **** what Brister did in Denver, as a Steeler he was excruciating to live through. Malone? Korky? Poke my eyes out. Ben was the best thing to happen to the Steelers in a generation.

Having lived through Kordell, Kent Graham Mike Tomzak and for a brief while Tommy Maddox.
I remember Ben's 15-1 rookie season and knew we had our guy.

The franchise QB eluded Cowher for the longest time.
Mike Tomlin took the reigns and had a franchise QB for his entire tenure. Two super bowl appearances to show.

Ben should not get discredited by any means.

Say what you want about Neil Odonald but he was probably closest to a good QB before Ben. NOT comparing the two but that goes to show you how much difference an ELITE QB vs. a not so elite QB there is. 1968 started my STEELERS experience and has / is continuing full forward. This drama of two certain players is disheartening but the ill spread towards BEN takes the cake. The BEST QB to ever happen to this franchise and yet some want to discredit him and in such a bullshit way. Ben didn't but what if he did call out a few players when deservingly so.............. Grow some ******* skin and a backbone and suck it up butter-cup, JEEPERs.

*He now wants to be known not as “A.B.” but as “Mr. Big Chest.”

Maybe that hit by Burfict did more damage than what everyone thought.

LMAO, if that's considered calling someone out, then these guys need to grab some vagisil and use it.

The more he opens his mouth, the more I don't think we will move him unless it's for a ****** 3rd round or worse pick. He really does need a psych evaluation and/or a bunch of drug tests. Dude just is not all there or he is just that f'ing stupid.

You must admit-

You have to give Tomlin some credit for keeping this loony under wraps for as long as he did.

But I know, I know. Tomlin Sucks.

Or he should've stopped this **** as soon as it started, when he's yelling at Lebeau and saying he's the franchise. Tell him no he can't stay off campus for training camp. I'm not blaming Tomlin for AB acting like a total dickface, but he could've come down harder on him on some of these issues that happened in house.

I agree to an extent. But there is only so much a Coach can do if once a player gets paid.

I think the combination of AB's 1.) Front Loaded contract, his 2.) Envy with Juju, and 3.) His all-around selfishness made this an inevitable consequence.

A lot of people on the board are done with Tomlin, and think he has done a bad job and are ready for him to go. You cant police every post that is negative on tomlin
