Antonio Brown faults Mike Tomlin for telling Steelers he quit
Antonio Brown faults Mike Tomlin for telling Steelers he quit

Posted by Michael David Smith on February 16, 2019

Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown is continuing to mix it up with fans on Twitter, and he suggested in one tweet that he holds coach Mike Tomlin accountable for the perception that Brown quit on the team before their final game of the season.

Responding to a fan who accused him of showing by sitting out the final game of the season that he doesn’t really love football, Brown wrote that Tomlin telling the Steelers he quit on them made him out to be the bad guy.

“After the coach tell the team I quit while nursing some bumps then invite me to watch the show with same guys thinking I quit i can not stand with that! I’m the bad guy doe we miss post season think about it,” Brown wrote.

Was no perception, he did. His sense of reality is a little twisted.

Antonio, GET THE FUGGOUT!!

Blaming everyone but himself. I'd say walking out of practice with a fake injury, then not showing up for practice the rest or the week, skipping the MRI for his "injury" then skipping the walk through, all while not contacting the coach or anyone else is quitting on the team

It shouldn't surprise us that AB has relied on TO and Ocho Cinco as his mentors lately. He has turned into a diva clown just like the two of them.

What a thin skinned crybaby. Suck it up, butter cup. Enjoy your twighlight years and dwindling stats while trying to catch passes from some limp wristed wannabe.

When a "gif." Is used in the right context it can be exhilarating....................... EXCELLENT

AB kind of put things into perspective for Pittsburgh sports and maybe, just maybe some of our former outcasts will feel compelled to revisit the Steel City and not feel so ashamed. You see kids, up until this year Barry Bonds and Neil O'Donnell were the biggest outcasts. Sure he was out of position and his throwing arm was as weak as a school girl and likely cost the Bucs a chance to get to the World Series but at least Barry played out his contract, and Neil, well,, at least Neil's last game as a Steeler was the Super Bowl and he tried to do the best he could.. He really did the best he could...

If you are out there AB, please know our former goats thank you for totally eclipsing what it takes to be a monumental douchebag and they may now enter the city limits in relative peace and tranquility. However fear not that in likely the not too distant future maybe in 20-30 years you will be able to show your face in the city that once revered you as history has a way of repeating itself...unfortunately.

Barry cost the Pirates a chance at a WS? Barry carried the Buccos year in and year out. Simply a great player. Might have been an *******.....but a great player. Also Neil gets a bad rap for others not doing their job. My opinion(s) anyway. :)

Wait.. I thought the NFL was fixed so this is really just drama to stir up the ratings for next year right? Players are just really actors and coaches are just going off the script.

Nah they're all too dumb to fix games on a total level across the board. Now slanting heavily with the refs and cheating by gathering intelligence they shouldn't have? Absolutely. The pats******* are the poster children for that. I have to give it to them for that. How do you combat great athletic ability spread out across the league? Brains&precision beat brawn and dumber than a box of rocks guys like Brown.

One of the best offenses in the entire league got a whole field goal vs a bunch of no names who did jack **** most of the season.

The league must be filled with the dumbest coaches and players outside of the pats******.

I guess after one too many years of each super bowl being more dramatic than the last one they had to have a down year.

;) b

He didn't cost them the series alone but if my memory serves, weren't Bonds, Bonilla, and Van Slyke absolutely horrible in that Atlanta series? Either that series or a series earlier in that post season I seem to remember them being like a combined 6 for 50 or something disgusting like that.

Is this a start to put Tomlin on the hot seat though?

Unfortunately probably not, Art 2 needs to get over the Rooney Rule. This may get us and inch or two closer but there is still a 1/2 foot + to go........................ AB is NOT very smart above the neck.

When the **** did the Pittsburgh steelers become hard knocks?

Get this fool off the team.

It would not surprise me if he has some sort of a break down before next season. He’s a headcase.

Brown is getting roasted on his own FB page.

The guy has lost his mind.

Saw his rant on Roethlisberger this morning while I was at the gym.
Wtf is going on with this guy? It all started with a gatorade cooler.

The dude looks coked up out of his mind!
