Nothing under 6'0" tall drafted in the first three rounds...

Hoping one of the Elves is ready to contribute this year Golden was a high draft. Hoping he can at least be a solid slot cover guy. The guys they got now are protypical athletes size/speed but they are both raw. Not expecting much this year. We'll need something from Gholson and hopefully Grant.

I think they reached in 2 of the 3 rounds, but yeah

I agree, but this draft has been full of reaches from a bunch of teams. I guess in reality, is it really a reach if a team is willing to take a prospect earlier than we think they should?

Be careful. I got slammed here last year for calling out our shorter DB's even though it was an obvious mismatch most every game.

Its about time they got some size in the secondary. The midgets get abused.

maybe

but picking late in 1 is like picking in round

who was really there ? a CB with less production? A S with less production? A DT with less production?

Steelers have for a long time valued production on the field. With a few prospects they went for potential (Dupree, etc.)

I for one welcome that mind frame with bringing in prospects............

Based on selecting the same positions, you are either going Burns or Alexander in the first. Alexander had a big fall, so we'll see about him.

In the second, it was Davis or Bell. Bell was the safer, NFL ready pick while Davis has more upside and can play cornerback if they wanted to develop him there.

Hargraves was a great selection in the third given that Billings reportedly has a knee issue.
