Not sure how some of these refs keep their jobs

The ineligible player downfield against Pittsburgh was not a good call. The player called for the foul was at the line of scrimmage when the pass was released. Can't make that call. This was from Mike Pereria on Twitter, this wiped away a big play too

Interesting because I saw Dotson flying down field on that play when everyone else was in pass protection. I didn't pay attention to when he left the line and certainly defer to Pereira.
 
The calls today that were ridiculous was the OPI on Claypool. The Roughing the QB on Vince Williams....he was actually in the process of tackling Wentz. Saw several times where TJ Watt was actually tackled by a OL-men as he was in pursuit of Wentz and there was no flag. These refs are effecting the outcome of these games and it's just wrong! They were so bad today I was actually waiting for them to allow the INT call on the pass attempt to Ebron where the ball hit the ground.
 
You have to understand that negative press is still good, because it still gets people talking about the NFL. The league is getting exactly what they want from the Refs, otherwise they would change things.

At full speed Claypool did look like he interfered, but once it was slowed down you could see he never touched him. I still think PI should be auto-reviewed to correct the horrific calls. I know the reviewable PI failed once but i think the refs were kinda rebelling against the rule. Some of the PI calls that were not overturned were pretty bad. Definitely think they should give it another shot.
Slays penalties may not have been overturned, but Claypools should have been.

CASE in point, the league is the "refs" boss. THEY do as the boss says. No one is fooled by this, commen knowledge.

This was a basketball swim move. Nothing illegal about it and certainly no push off. He came back to the ball. Initially I thought he was being flagged for stepping on the defender as he got by for a TD. ****** call and it could have cost us the game.

Even at full speed it didn't look like OPI, IMO. You have two officials with a good view of the play too.

That shows the line of scrimmage was the 24 yard line and when Ben released the ball - the operative moment - Love was at the 24 yard line.

No wonder they made the call.
 
If you watch the Claypool OPI call, watch the db's feet. He tripped over Claypool's foot. Obviously incidental, but I can only assume that was the reason for the call.
