Noooooooooooooo! Marvin Lewis plans to leave Bengals

smart move on his part. announce this before end of ****** season. no chance of getting fired now.
 
One thing I will say, is he kept those idiots in check. They actually put it together in games and did well with all those locker room cancers. Sure they couldn't help themselves when the game got too big for their me-first players, but that team will fall apart without the right coach. Talent or not.

They never turned on Lewis, and he did give some of them chances that they wouldn't have on any other team (outside of Dallas). That team will be brilliant to watch next year during a rebuild! Heads will explode! Media darling Burfict (victim of vicious hitting by that nasty JuJu), will show his true colors and will self destruct. I'm calling it.

agreed but that isn't exactly going out on a limb. Burfict always self destructs
 
If Ben were to retire after this season and Red was available, he would be on my short list of veterans to sign. He is a good game manager and would be better than Landry or McKown or other. Granted I would rather have Cousins, he would likely cost a **** ton to sign.
 
Lost all respect for Lewis when he called Ben a whiner during a post game press conference a while back.
 
When Lewis leaves, they will revert back to what they were before he got there. The owner is the problem.
 
I thought it was interesting how the Bengals got up for the Steelers and then collapsed afterward. Outscored 33-7 by the Bears and 34-7 by the Vikings. Not even competitive.
