Nice article on the potential 53 for this season

Not sure Patrick Morris makes it as 8th OL man and think Marcus Allen will be one of the safeties, otherwise I think this is close.

WoW, having one of AB's old lockers would make me work hard to be a "TEAM" player to forget that azZhat.

I'd have a second opinion other than Danny chewy bubbles's on the BOZ mental, 27th in the league dictates that.

Pretty solid article but it will change during camp and final 53.

Agree with this. Hats what makes our OL real interesting is that everybody is very versatile. I think Dangerfueld could be the odd man out

I agree, Finny can back up both positions. But I think they keep 4 OT. Imo

I agree. Would make more sense to keep a T. You would think one could double as a G or C anyways.

regarding burns

I hope this is accurate.
(on Burns)

I just got to wonder...if one of the positives coming out of the draft - that he was mature beyond his years - evaporated once he got some NFL $. He just appears to be someone who isn't taking his job seriously enough. Not a known hard worker, and they thought that was one of the things they could count on. If anything, instead of having a strong, mature mind, he seems fragile and easily shaken.

He was a raw prospect. Who had one good year of INTs in college. So that amped up his draft value, when he perhaps was a little too green around the edges. As he wasn't some great run defender. What he was was there when their greater want was just picked. Steelers had an increase want of a prospect that could produce NFL INTs. And there he sat again. So I think they knew this was a high risk reward type player.

As far as not being a hard worker, never heard anything like that about him. And not taking his job seriously is hogwash as well. He has already been applauded for basically the opposite in mini-camp.

I'm hoping as well because he does know the system and has shown ability in the past. Tomlin hasn't been overly successful in the DB department but I hope this works out for "TEAM's" sake. It could really help this "D" in the long run but not the end of the world if it doesn't.

Hard to take a list too seriously when they've always kept at least 9 OL and this only has 8.

I think at least three players listed won't make it. McCullers leads that list.

McCullers being on the roster has completley befuddled me for the past several years. A guy who you know at this point exactly what he is and you don't play him, but you keep him. Just makes no sense whatsoever. I'm hoping Buggs will be a rotational player in some packages. He looks like he is pretty quick off the ball and tracks the qb well from the inside.
