Damn. Washington is shutting off scoring lanes
 
Looks like Tampa is well aware of Wilson.
Wilson is gonna be a target post whistle
 
Hardly watch Tampa aside from a few games this season.
Can they push that pace like they did in 3rd? I thought Tampa had a decent 3rd. Gotta play like that all game.
 
Bolts looked a lot like the Pens tonight. Didn't play physical enough and would go for one too many passes rather than take a shot on goal. They played like it was a regular season game and need to ramp it up if they expect to advance

Exactly, we thought they same. They did wake up in the 3rd, After the PP goal and Kunitz ripped Wilson's helmet off. I think they will be back on track tomorrow.

I'm going VGK and TB.
TB laid an egg yesterday. I'm expecting a better response in game 2.

3rd period was telling where this series can go, and the caps did have a hard time adjusting to the speed when TB woke up.
Wilson is still looking for the cheap shot.
Hope someone in TB has the guts to really **** him up

The Bolts are a smart team. They'll adjust.
Game 1 was getting the feet wet and getting used to the opponent.

My hate for washington aside, I still do not see the caps winning this series.
 
We blew it in game 1 vs Bruins, too. Then 4 straight. This round wont be done in 5 games, i dont think, but we have what ot takes to win it

Once they got going they looked pretty damn good. I think TB will win the series. Then TB (Kunitz) vs. the Fleury's.

The Capitals are very deep and talented hockey team that can play the finesse or power game equally well...

Holtby is the wild card...and you can see how he is playing..

The Pens were second best in the East....not Tampa ...

We shall see Dino. We shall see.
I will admit they are deep and talented but so is Tampa.
The hungrier team will win that series.


In the west.
Winn/VGK is entertaining. Vegas is waking up now.
Turning physical too. As a Pens fan, happy to see Reaves get some playing time

Both teams are flying. Looks like when you get that runners high and everything slows down lol.
I gotta admit, it's nice watching hockey without feeling like your stomach is in knots.

This is gonna be a fun series. Both teams are fun to watch.
One of the few games I've seen Will Karlsson contained. Winnipeg buckled up on D

Since TB finished at the top of the East, I'd agree they weren't the 2nd best.....
