NFL’s top 25 Free Agents 2019

New teammates seldom go into full diva mode. I think Thomas would love to play with our pass rush. With his range, smarts and ball skills fans would be all smiles.

Yeah, TO was a model teammate everywhere he went.....

30 year old player. Ended 2 of the last 3 seasons on IR. Last year with a broken leg. Article i read said non-contact injury. Hasn't played all 16 games in the last 3 seasons.

Last season after holding out training camp, while under contract. You people eviscerated Bell for not being in camp and he was not under contract.

Yeah, that's the guy we want.

We won't sign any of them. The front office never spends the money on top tier free agency unless they are busts.

There's only 2 positions the Steelers actively sign early in FA:

Safety
Tight End

Why?

Because they are cheap.

IMO, the position most in need of upgrade via FA is the CB opposite of Haden. We can get a good ILB that can start in round 1.

The difference between the current CB and what we can get via FA or trade is > than what we'd be able to do at any other position.

CJ will cost to much as will Barr and Smith, easiest way way to fix the D is go hybrid 3-4-4-3 passing downs either 3 or 4 man rush with 2 or 3 LB's

Can bring Dupree back and use him as a DE and OLb draft DT Lawrence sign Collins cut Burnett rnd 2 as well sign one of these 3 CB to start on the other side of Haden (PJ Williams, Dennard, Darby)

your 3-4 can be DE Tuitt NT Lawrence De heyward OLB watt ILB rookie ILB Williams OLB Dupree
4-3 packag
DE Tuitt DT Lawrence DT Heyward De Hargrave OLB Watt MLB rookie/Williams OLB
Dupree
Nickel De Dupree DT heyward DT Hargrave De Tuitt LB Watt ILB Fort

Those of you that want 4 DL you haven't been paying attention, hell you are lucky to see three here and there.

Butlin prefers the 2FU rollover formation

it is where they send two, and we're ******.

slash last 3 games he used at times 4-3-4 or 4-2-5 I saw Watt at DE in the Saints game. the DL sucked from the start it just is unbearable so it must be destroyed.

we already have ILB's that can't cover.

What do you think the odds of the STEELERS landing him???? All BS aside of him being a rat bird etc,...... I think they should go after him hard. Buy or Sell ??????

Salute the nation

I like him and think he can cover better than who we have on the roster. I say the odds are long of getting him as he might get top dollar at the position.

But **** they need to upgrade ILBer and CB so you have to start somewhere....................

Also, in coverage packages, I think Fort is a legit option. So long as he is not COVERING THE OPPONENT'S X wide receiver, I mean.

I would draft Bush in 1 and bring in Mosley as a free agent.

I think both would help out in weak areas...........

If the Steelers get Bush in the 1st, I have to believe he sees the field for 3 downs. I have no problem with that. 4.43 40, 40" vertical, 125" long jump. He has a skill set that definitely looks like one that will allow him to be a force in coverage. He is not a large guy, but 234 lbs. is 3 lbs. less than Shazier. He could be a playmaker.

Then use the FA money to get a pass rusher for the LOLB. Durpee is not that guy. Pay a FA, fix that position, and then use the draft to fix ILB and CB in rounds 1 and 2.

Those pass rushers are getting tagged quickly. They need a upgrade at corner....

They aren't paying Dupree $9 mill and then bring in a FA. They might draft a guy. And like it was said above. The pass rushers are all getting the TAG.

You trust them to get a good CB in the draft.
