Forgive me if this has been discussed before but it's just bizarre.

Harrison's Int return -7th

Viniterari's FG - 4th

Mike Jone's tackle - 3rd. A decent open field tackle.

Malcolm Butler's Int - 2nd

Swann's multiple remarkable receptions - didn't make the cut

Marcus Allen's run - didn't make the cut

I didn't even remember the Saints onside kick - 9th

Elway's 8 yard helicopter run for a 1st down - 8th. If he slides nobody even remembers it.

Tyree's catch was 1st.

Ben to Holmes?

Yeah it's pretty much crap.

Steve Sabol (RIP) said that the Holmes catch was not only the greatest catch in Super Bowl history but should be considered for greatest catch of all time.

I always thought the 2 Stallworth made against the Rams may have eclipsed Swanns.

Though he missed the kick, the Norwood FG was a much more dramatic play than either of Vinatieri FGs, as Norwood's team was down by a point, while Vinatieri's each were tied with a OT to fall back on. Nowhere near the same amount of pressure.

It is a classic case of there is so many Steelers great SB highlights, that they purposely leave some out to appease other fans.

It is ok we know the list is a joke...........

My Top 10 Superbowl Plays:
10. Woodson knocking away a pass and pointing to his healed knee against Michael Irvin early in SB XXX (the only player to return from an ACL injury in the same year).
9. After Swan was knocked out of the game in SB XIV, Stallworth streaked for a 73yd go ahead TD.
8. Dwight White falling on Tarnkenton in the enzone for a safety and the first score in Steeler SB history.
7. Willie Parker longest TD run in SB history
6. Rocky Blier climbing the ladder to catch a TD (followed by the big drop Dallas in the EZ on the next drive)
5. Jack Lambert planting a Cowboy after Gerella's missed FG
4. Reverse X pass Randle El to Hines Ward
3 Swann's Levitation catch
2 Santonio Holmes keeping his feet down for the TD Catch to take the lead in SB 43
1. Longest Play in SB history (both in yardage and duration): Harrison's INT returned for a TD as time expired in the first half.

no Stallworth catches in there huh?

decent list...one could debate 1 and 2 are interchangeable....

I agree, I replaced Stallworth's big game catch with Woodley's game clincher. It's a better play after Swann goes down hurt, and Stallworth stepped up to seal the victory!

Harrison's return avoiding defenders right at the end of the half and getting tackled as he went across the goal line was more amazing to watch and is arguably the best defensive play of all time. But the timing and precision of Holmes' toe-tap catch to win the game was incredible. Roethlisberger's pass was absolutely perfect. Anything extra and it is dropped, anything more and it is tipped. So yeah, I'd say you could argue either as the top choice.

I'd put the onside kick from that game on the list instead.

It is unquestionable and extremely telling of the media in relationship to the Steelers and especially Ben. When every boy is playing football in the backyard with his buddies he isn't dreaming of making a difficult catch on third down. Its a game winner that was damn near as tough. Putting that play at 6th is beyond a farce. How could Mike Jones making a tackle he should make when the Titans lacked the balls to go for the endzone, eclipse that.

I have an 8x10 that I got Rod to sign of him pointing to his knee.

The back to back bombs from Bradshaw to Stallworth to win our 4th Super Bowl are the best plays in history of the game.

Degree of difficulty should be the main criteria for deciding which plays belong on the list. Field goals have no place on the list unless they are 60 yarders or something. 40 yard field goals to win the Super Bowl... while dramatic... are still just 40 yards field goals and look just like every other field goal you've ever seen. Now the one he kicked against Oakland in the snow... that was impressive as hell and would belong on the list if it happened in the Super Bowl.

Holmes catch literally won a super bowl in the waning minutes... tyree's catch only kept a winning drive alive. Plexico caught that game winner. bias through and through...

Nfl Network is a joke.... never tune in to it and give it ratings... literally starve that atrocity off the air

Harrison's pick 6 is the best defensive football play ever, let alone the SB.

Ben to Holmes' TD was the best in SB history...and it won the game.

Clear anti-Steeler bias. Haters are everywhere I tell you.

Harrison's return is clearly #1, IMO. An improbable, unbelievable 14 point swing of a play that seemed to go on forever. I wonder where it ranks in longest plays (time-wise)?
