A WR can only do so much without a QB to get them the ball.. Patriots would have no problem shutting him down.

Post Gazette ran a story tonight around 1030 saying the Steelers don't even have a deadline. Just used Friday as a way to find out who were in it for real and who was pretending. So much stuff going around now.
 
Regardless I think the Steelers want this done sooner than later.

So if AB decides he doesn’t want to goto whoever trades for him and retires. Does he have to pay money back that was part of his contract?

If we get the 9th pick and a 2nd for AB and 20 that's cool. I don't like that the top 10 picks have higher 5th year options. So they better not eff this pick up.

Yeah. He'd have to give back at least 2/5 or 3/5 of his signing bonus(thinking 3/5)

You’re damn right they do.. every time I turn around AB is out there on social media killing his trade value by saying something stupid. Mr.Rooney knows that If this doesn’t get done soon, he’ll keep running his mouth saying he doesn’t need football or trashing his teammates and we won’t get anything more than a 3rd rounder for him. AB went about this all wrong and scared all the teams he would like to play for off already. He’s a loose cannon and since he can’t just shut up we HAVE to get a deal done ASAP!

Espn isn't even reporting this, i hoped we aren't getting hyped for nothing, i want that 9th pick.

I don't even care what the deal is to be honest. Sending him to the Bills alone is glorious if it happens. Ok I do care but if we somehow got pick 9 and Devin White out of this I would be ecstatic.
 
Brown won't play for Buffalo. Even though the Steelers can trade the chooch to whomever they want Big Checks still gets to approve.
The Bills have a 2nd year QB who is another run first Offense. Brown won't even sniff the yardage and TD stats he had in Pittsburgh.
 
Even if they did agree to something, nothing would be official until the 14th and either team can rescind the offer up until the deal is actually signed. We do need extra picks now but, if we did get to move up, we could take White and solidify the middle of the field for years to come. I'd still rather have that extra No. 1 pick, though. Getting their pick and trading back a few and still getting Bush or White would be ideal in that scenario.
 
If it isn't a one you want enough multiple picks that is equivalent to a one.

We will see how it unfolds.

I literally said on another thread if I was the Steelers and couldn’t get a first round pick from someone I’d trade him to the Bills, Jets or Cardinals for spite lol
