Another home run Stiffler, than k you

I really like the "take authority action" type coaches. Many here, including myself, wanted Hines Ward and for good reason but I think we still got a pretty good coach in IKE. Time will tell and Ike has mentored under some solid coaching staffs.

Tomlin didn't want Ward as his WR coach. Likely a mistake.

I'm pretty sure WARD wasn't available so Tomlin really didn't have a choice. I never saw anything about SBWHCMVLT discounting Hines Ward in his search for a WR coach. In fact I don't think I it was ever brought up due to Hines already having a JOB. Please show me a link or article showing Coach Tomlin's intent.

Yes he was. When our long time WR coach passed away in camp 2019, Ward could have been hired as a full time WR coach. We went with a former OC, which didn't work out.

The Jets gave Ward his first NFL coaching job.

Adam Gase: Hines Ward is going to be a full-time offensive assistant and he'll work with Shawn Jefferson and the receivers.'It was the right time for him.'

As for a link on what Tomlin thinks, get back to me when you find it.

So Tomlin, by your Post said he didn't want WARD but yet you have no proof ? Because Tomlin didn't hire WARD is not him saying he didn't want him. I think Ward was an intern receivers coach at the time so yea, you are right he wasn't under contract but that makes for my arguement, not yours.

My point is IF Tomlin wanted Ward there was an opening, and he did not act. Hence he wanted someone else.

God you try to debate some stupid **** sometimes.

could well be that Tomlin did not want Ward. And that may not have been a bad thing. The WR room just went through a tragedy and the team needed someone to help get through that emotional ride. Ward was a great player and guy, but I have no idea if he was the right guy to help the WR room after that tragedy in camp. What I do know is Ward was not an experienced Coach at that time. Not all great players make great coaches. It is quite possible that Tomlin might well not wanted to deal with breaking in a new coach. He needed an experienced coach.

could well be that Tomlin did want Ward, but did not want poach a guy (even an intern) from another team.

could well be that Tomlin asked Ward and Ward was not interested.

none of us know what went on then. And, btw, what went on then has nothing to do with Ike. Nice article btw.

THAT's a whole hellA lot different than tomlin NOT wanting him you circle jerk. Ward was committed and what the **** difference does it mattered weather Tomlin wanted him or not. By your argument of tomlin not wanting him solidifies tomlin wanting IKE. Now is IKE better than Ward and your argument is saying NO he is not but no way you can deduce that.

Sometimes baby talk is a hellA lot more sense than Coach speek.

If Tomlin WANTED Ward, when our WR coach passed away, he could have had him, DUH, It was his choice. There was a window. That is my point. Re-read this twice, you'll get it.

It is possible Ward did not want to coach for the Steelers. It is also possible Tomlin did not want Ward because he'd over shadow him. ( Gold jacket theory )

I’ll always bleed black and gold.” said Ward. But he ( Ward ) does have one significant supporter when it comes to potentially joining Mike Tomlin’s staff.
“Yeah, it would be awesome, obviously,” Cowher said. “But Mike will make that decision, and it’s up to him. There’s so many things that go into it.”

>>>Like Cowher said it would be nice, but Mike has to make that decision. Tomlin offered the job to someone else. Go figure the man who hired Todd freaken Haley passes on Hines Ward.

So, do you think is will snow today ? Ultimately the bottom line is how big of flakes there will be. Some say the flakes don't grow as big due to climate change.

I'm sure it will snow today somewhere. This is because I can see beyond Pittsburgh. At any rate, I think its case closed. Ward could have been our receivers coach if Tomlin wanted him. I quoted Cowher.

The case was closed before you opened it jackoff. You proved absolutely nothing in your back n forth rant. Go lick a different window this window is good to go.
