What a free agent class.

Williams - Playing like a pro bowl running back. Our best free agent pickup in years.

Cockrell - Our best playmaking DB. It did not take him long to " learn the system ", but then again he's smart and went to Duke.

Boswell - An accurate kicker with a leg for 50+ yard kicks, he also showed he was money with the game on the line.

You can argue all three men are playing at least as well or better than the person who was in their spot in 2014.

Agree with you here Coach on all three guys but I'd have to add Villanueva at LT as well. Sure he's gotten beaten but for the situation he's been put in I'd say he's done a pretty damn good job. I'd also add Rosie Nix to this group as well. Brutal blocker!

Wasn't Villanueva on the practice squad last year? Even so, he's new to the field on game day so you can add him.

Nix is making great blocks, and is a factor on special teams.

I think Villanueva was on the Eagles practice squad last season. I don't remember him being part of our team last season. Anyone know for sure?

We brought Villi over after the Iggles cut him last year. He spent last year on our practice squad making the transition from DL to OL and receiving additional coaching from Tunch.

Berry is doing great punting.

Nix is making a case to keep a FB/ST on the roster

Mitchell is improving

Dupree is making plays as a rookie

Jessie James just had a good game.

Vick won a game in San Diego.

I'd say the new guys are above the line.

Blake still sucks against good receivers but is getting better.

Vick sucks donkey dicks

but go on....

Would you say he may be better against good receivers than the Raiders cb's ? I do believe it's his first full year as a starter- there are some 1st rd cb's in the league who haven't done that yet.

I don't think Blake is particularly good and will continually get shredded. However, he has a knack for coming up with a big play, whether it's a pass defense, interception or forced fumble. Right now, we don't have a better defensive back when it comes to that area of the game. Given how our defense is playing, I'm very happy there is a lot of good to go with the bad.

Think it is a bit far fetched to call Boswell a 50+ yd kicker, he made the one from 51 but anything close to that since we've gone for the punt.

He's 1/1 on 50+ and Tomlin has twice elected to punt instead of the 52 yard FG try.
Mind boggling.

Williams should have received AFC offensive player of the week.

On that note, how did Brown not win it? 17 catches for 280+ yards plus another 22 rushing is like 3 games worth of catches and yards to even good WR's. No, they give it to Mariota instead...because 370 yards is so hard to throw for nowadays. Give me a break.
