New Steeler, Coolies boy, putting in work.

Oh I agree he was a key part of the team, just not a great player. Easily top ten in Steelers lore? Not a chance. What are you drinking Iron City?

I might bump this post if the man is cut.
.

why the **** would you bump this thread if Myers is cut? who in this thread has said the kid will make the team? No one, not even me...who is likely his biggest fan on the site.

the kid has good athletic ability and MIGHT be able to win spot on the roster if he can make a name for himself on special teams and could earn some time on the field in the nickel or dime situations.

You are just an opinionated ******** who for some reason has the illusion that you are better at evaluating talent that others on this site....

I don't think you can see the television screen with your ******* ego in the way.

Myres' tackling abilities are important for him making the team for two reasons:

  • Need to play special teams if you are the team's #5 CB and guys who can tackle play special teams, those who can't, don't.
  • Tackling abilities mean he can play the slot, since missing a tackle on a slot receiver turns an 8-yard gain into a 20-yard gain.

And his 4.42 40, 37" vertical, 19 reps are unique physical skills.
