NE is the #1 seed in the AFC

I give the Browns a decent shot at beating the Steelers, maybe even knock another starter or two out of the playoffs.

Steelers had their chance to rest players and blew it.

Not so fast.

We are tied in record.

Steelers have Houston and Cleveland. Very winnable games

NE has
Buffalo - Gronk's revenge game
NY Jets - Revenge of the stolen TD.

These 2 teams are division rivals and also have something extra to play for. I expect both of these games to be tough outs for the Pats, and if they falter, the road to the Superbowl should run through Pittsburgh!

We have two " bye weeks " In a row. The Jets or Bills could beat New England.

Primary is getting Brown and Haden back...and with 3 weeks we should.

No guarantee Brown will be anywhere close to 100% IF he comes limping back. Probably closer to 60%, if that.

The Browns could also beat the Steelers and knock Bell out of the playoffs with another injury because we lost the chance to rest players with that brain dead loss to the Pats.

That's not true Spike, contusions, once the swelling is gone, is only painful if you get hit in the same spot.

I'm hoping the pats get the jags or the Ravens in their first playoff game. Those teams matchup better than us. Ravens have beaten them in the big game before. Our best shot of a Superbowl is avoiding the pats.

Too bad Wentz got hurt, he would have chewed them up and spit them out.

WTF are you talking about..........unless you are referring to Wentz chewing up the STEELERS and I doubt that's the case.

Torn muscles do not completely heal in a week or two

Your don't get rushed to the ER for a bruise!

Potential emergency surgery for internal bleeding/limb compartment syndrome, you do

Antonio Brown will not be playing. He suffered a significant calf injury last week against the New England Patriots and won’t be back until the playoffs if then.

Hey Spike,

I know fully what compartment syndrome is. He didn't have it. He didn't get cut, and he didn't require surgery.

Want to know what got him to the hospital? Swelling and discoloration. I do believe that compartment was a possible concern when they loaded him into an ambulance during the game, but I also believe it was completely precautionary, and they were taking care of their $80M investment. In medicine, you always consider the worst possible outcome, but you treat the actual cause. This instance, when Brown got to the hospital, compartment syndrome would have immediately been ruled out. Which is why he wasn't cut.

He didn't have surgery, so this post is meaningless as it pertains to AB's actual injury.

Rog has it rigged. All the officials and people at the NFL HQ know that Br*dy is to win every Super Bowl until he retires.

It seems that way. If you studied them from 2001 until now in depth. They sit way outside of all probabilities. I could buy it if it was say the 70's Steelers filled with hof players or even the 80's with Joe Montana. We're talking about a qb and a te. The rest are scrubs. Most of their teams have been scrubs.

I think there's more evidence that points to me being right, then me being wrong.

If only Tomlin coached the Pats! The Pats have the best QB, Coach, and TE in the league, the rest of the team is a bunch of nobodys. BUT they win the games they are supposed to win,, like yesterday.
They will win out and win another superbowl. We are a great bunch of players with garbage coaches.

Oh spare me. Give Tomlin Ernie Adams and their whole system of cheaters and guess what? He's a Bellicheckian genius! Take Bellicheck out of New England and he's Cleveland Bill Bellicheck.

I never said that's what he has, but yeah, that was the fear, that's what led him to being rushed to the hospital, and why they said later emergency surgery wasn't needed, maybe you need to learn to read English.

So stop prancing around acting like it's some little boo boo bruise

And you stop running around like he got his leg cut off. Deal? I think my assessment was a lot closer.

OK deal

We'll see about the prognosis going forward

I give him a 30% chance of ever making it back on the field in time for the playoffs and a 0% chance of AB being Pro Bowl AB if he does.

For your mom's sake, I hope not.
I don't care who you are, that's funny.

I expect that Spike's right. Antonio, even if he DOES make it back at some point in the playoffs, will likely not be 100%. I would be shocked if he was.

That said, he can still be effective. Antonio at 80% is just about as good as any other team's #1. And he'd still be better than most the guys we got on our team unless Bryant decides he wants that big contract money from somebody this off-season and starts playing beast-style.
