Pretty much every single Browns fan I know in my neighbor is a RABID.....Ohio State fan. That is where 99% of their football focus and energy is placed. Watching the Browns on Sundays to them is akin to visiting that elderly relative who is mean and hateful but you feel a sense of duty to visit them, so you do it just to get it over with. Not one Browns fan I know expresses any excitement or hope for anything the Browns do. Going into every game, they feel like Charlie Brown running to kick the football knowing full well it is going to be yanked away at the last second and they are going to take a painful and embarrassing fall. I can't help but pity them a little.
You don't live around here. As soon as they won a few games two years ago they were complete ******* ******** and I remembered why I hated them.

I live near Baltimore. I get ******** fans. but when it comes to the Browns, I just cant hate their fans. they have not won a championship in my lifetime and I am old. they came close in the 80s but yet their fans are still there every single game. lets face it they really really really suck. but they are sold out each week. I respect that.
If they get cocky after a few wins can you blame them? just wait it wont last. but their fan loyalty will.
Here in NM. The raiders fans think every year is their year for a championship. Carr is jesus. Followed by a bunch of banndwagoners. NM is west of TX, south of CO so a loooot of cowboys/broncos fans are out full force when the team wins. Pretty large Steelers fanbase as well. So I can only only complain about the in denial state of raiders fans. I've been to Seattle. Steelers not welcomed. Worst fans I've dealt with were a few flyers fans at a grocery store. ********
Two years ago I tried going to some other teams' boards for ***** and giggles and talk some smack (politely) but I learned that almost all of them block you as soon as you are the least bit critical.
Yep, there are a few that are solid, but most act like sheltered scared kids who throw temper tantrums when anyone doesnt say their team is great 24/7... frankly I like a good troll hunt every now and again here... it puts a little sport in the forums... well, at least till they go rabid and someone has to put them down....
The other draw back to going to most other teams sites is the lack of football knowledge that seems to be taken for granted on here. There are some folks that do not grasp the game as well as others but over-all the quality of discussion on this site is way beyond the drivel one finds on other sites and often far better than what one finds on sports reporting in the media. It's like listening to Tunch, Wolf, Labs and Presuta, or Phill Sims and emid smiph.
