Of the way they got ****** today.
1. Obvious shity call on 4th down. Perhaps the shitiest PI call in any game. Haden had a feel hand on him. Plus he was behind him and the ball was still 2 feet over him.
2. I believe it was Morgan who separated the ball. He caught it turned and took steps. That was a fumble. I believe they should have challenged but still.
3. The second Haden fourth down PI was only slightly less bad then the first. **** if you are calling it like that you are going to call 12 PIs a game. That was strictly based upon situation.
4. Macdonald likely had a huge play on the final drive defensive holding. It was holding, but it was also pass interference which would have put them at the 20 and in complete control.p

I think 3. Was the worst, I literally saw nothing in the replay. Haden didn’t even touch the guy, I think it’s the worst penalty I ever seen.

It always amazes me how the Steelers hey the PI calls against them, but other teams clutch and grab all game and it seems to be OK.

Are we that bad?

Tomlin gives the other team a free sample every single game. How he keeps his job....

Ridley on the field? Why?

I can’t wait until next sunday so we can really hear the vibe in that locker room.

I feel its tiered. I think there is an upper echelons that get the big game calls. Saints definitely are darlings.l

The NFL needs to do something about their officials. They're getting worse every year. Hate to say it, but they need to start allowing penalties to be challenged.

I wish I could remove those refs from this game. And see it for what it could have been, an under dog Steelers giving it to the topped ranked NFC team. But sadly that is mared. At every turn they took our momentum...As my drunk *** sits and types this, we owend then ...but we owend many teams this year and couldn’t finish. I wish they would be more like me,....always finishing, usually first. :-)~

There was a number of things, but you can't let JuJu just walk away scott free. He held that ball like a hot-dog and the ball slipped out like nothing. Its not like he got smashed and the ball popped out. Hopefully its a lesson learned. If he doesn't lay an egg maybe we score a TD at worst FG and leave practically no time on the clock.

I get the NFL wants more offense, but the game is being way overregulated in the secondary.

Scoring is up, but it's due more to all the penalty yardage and automatic first downs than anything else.

The officials are having way too much impact on games.

The ball was punched out by the guy on the ground and he knew what he was doing when he punched it.

It just looked like it popped out to easy to me. He held the ball with one hand going down. When it gets down to the wire like that always 2 hands on the ball. It doesn't get knocked out.

Outside of the first Haden PI call, the worst call of the day was the last saints TD, in which the ref wound his arm when it was clearly a TD. He was right on top of it and blew it miserably. Almost like he was looking to screw the Steelers in that spot. This guy makes Jeff Triplette look like Steven Hawking. Absolutely deplorable. He should be fired immediately. And he has numbers to back his calls or lack thereof for the home team. It’s not on JuJu (Him and AB showed how special they were today) and I get what Tomlin was doing with the fake punt. The worst play of today’s game was giving the ball to Ridley on 3rd and 2. That spot is not for a guy with a history of putting the ball on the floor. That should be the cherry on the cake for Tomlin’s relief of duties. Losing 4 of 5 since 11/25-“December football” when you have a comfortable lead in the division has gotten better coaches that are less tenured fired. All of this talent on the offensive side of the ball and not making the playoffs is 100% unacceptable!

Add to these... you cannot call a PI after the ball is tipped!

I predict Tomlin will say Samuels was tired, even though he was barely used.

Tomlin hardly ever subbed Conner out, so that will be another bullshit answer from Coach Cliche

Not sure what you are saying here. It was a bang bang play and it was going to be reviewed either way. So I don't see that as a bad call. The time was going to be put back on if it were a TD. The ref is actually irrelevant on that play because they were always going to review it.

I find Tomlin overthinks and gets in his own way. We put Ridley in because we had committed to going for it on 4th down. Ok. Dont put Ridley in and hope for it. Throw twice. They often seem to do things hoping. I find their goal line is very much like that.

If he can’t make that call from where he was standing-he should not be an official in this, or any league for that matter. He was right on top of it.

Again though he knows it's going to be looked at again anyway. So why impart "He hates the Steelers and wants them to lose by not letting the Saints score on this play". Which is silly because you'd think he'd want them to score since it would have been 3rd down and they need a TD and there is no guarantee they score a TD on the next two plays.

The difference is other coaches get in the ears of the officials and call “bullshit” and “foul”. They make them explain it again and again to the point, I think, the officials get tired of dealing with them and let certain plays go. Then there are coaches who don’t.
