MVS Plans to Sign with Steelers

Why not? He’s got speed. Maybe HE CAN GET SEPARATION

dumb... we just got CAIII back and Wilson had a good game. Scantling has 4 receptions this year. Last year he had 19 with 2 teams, the year before he had 23. His highest total is 42 receptions for 687yrds in 2022 with KC
 
He’s been with New Orleans,San Francisco,Buffalo and KC in the last 2 years. All of these teams,like us,are looking for WR’s.
So you can see exactly where his career has been going. Color me not excited.
31 years old……..just that youthful spark we’ve been looking for. He should fit in well in that pay me my last money before I retire motto the Steelers seem to have emphasized the last few years. Good Lord. Put Wilson as your #2. Target him. See what he’s got. Austin is surely not a #2.

I was joking about does MVS have anything left. I already know the answer to that and he wasn't particularly good in the first place. Remember Arthur Smith doesn't need good WRs to make his offense work, so let's run with what they've already got.

We only do 30 or older with Tomlin now. He fits the mold.

The franchise is absolutely laughable until Tomclown is gone.
 
Keeping throwing busted up, past their prime and never was players at the wall…brilliant!

1) I heard he sucks being already on the train
2) he has to jump on the slow moving train
3) can he call a defensive game or cover

Effin pointless move if it happens that doesn’t move the needle from 9-8 a bit.

I’m ok with this for depth. Not sure if Scotty Miller is going to be back in the line up any time soon. Heck, he might wind up on IR. I’m sure MVS will be a week or 2 on the practice squad.
 
Oh thank heavens. Adding a below-average older WR is just what the team needs. Look at the incredible value that Robert Woods added. And Mike Williams.

I shudder at the thought of how those seasons play out without those two elite players.

Good veteran that excels at top of route tree.. not too bad with the 50-50 ball also.
We needed a wide out like that..provides a good mix within current group.
 
Yep. Roman Wilson is finally showing some signs of life...let's bring in a career 4-5 receiver in his thirties to make sure any valuable potential development is thwarted. Makes perfect sense with this team.
