The MT Word Of The Week for wild card week is...situational football.
The obviously over/under for this week is 19.
This week's bonus word is positivity.
Place your bets.
Catch yinz next season.
 
How about "in-game adjustments", "don't start a street RB when you made the decision to go with Harris mid-season", "let's not attack the defenses weakness".

Oh wait, nevermind.... you wanted words, not phrases.

A Tomlinism can be either, although the phrases will be short such as back to the lab and turning over stones.

"positivity"-0 (just saying "positive" doesn't count-must have the ty)

Positivity is good, but I would have guessed "Ultimately" as the bonus word.

As in "Ultimately we didn't make our goal, but I saved my job mothefuckahs!"

Yes, that is the new Tomlinism that appeared, as far as I can tell, two weeks ago. Of course this week it will likely appear in the negative sense, such as "lack of positivity".

11-5 and won the division, that contract extension is right around the corner. After two years of 8-8 the arrow is pointing up if you will, obviously.
 
After a loss? I'll take the over on obviously. Obviously.

A loss at home in the playoffs is always a thing that we're going to reflect on. We're going to go back to the lab and turn over stones, but I think we can all agree this season definitely showed some signs of positivity and we want to build on that and unleash hell in September.
 
I'm going to go off the board and pick "splash plays" at 4 or over.

Situational football turns in a below the line performance with zero.
Obviously was also below the line with only ten appearances.
In a shocking reversal of fortune, positivity also comes in at zero.
Above the line, a word of some pedigree obviously, was above the line with two appearances.

I will take the off-season to evaluate my positivity under some rocks back at the lab if you will, embrace and acknowledge that, and some back next year with renewed positivity and the arrow pointing up, obviously.
