Listened to his presser today online. "Filler" is a term used to described words the speaker uses when pausing. Tomlin says "um" and "uh" a lot, probably about every 10 to 15 seconds on average. I tried to count how many times he used filler today and lost count around 50. . .his presser wasn't even half over.
