Moncrief - coaching stupidity

As deep as we are at wr, why the **** put him in there with a dislocated finger. ******* stupidity knows no bounds. Let the guy get healthy before you have him in there, for ***** sake.

Because he is a player of pedigree, obviously, if you will, and things of that nature.

Hey Joe.......I hope this doesn't come as a big surprise to you but some fear that this year can go very badly for us without any hope of a turnaround. The signs are there that there is a big lack of direction in team leadership. We all have our fingers crossed that it will be a false read but as of this time in the season, hope is dwindling.

In a perfect world our young backup QB will take over for our aging injured starting future HOFer and turn us into a contender.....

I agree with you here that he has no business on the field with an injured finger but what troubles me is this guys reputation for dropping the ball. I saw a couple things in NE last week that troubled me that had nothing to do with his injured finger.

That's all I hear is how "DEEP WE ARE AT WR", yet we put a dislocated dropsie wr on the field............................................................

how deep are we at WR?? Who, other than JuJu can really be counted on?

We need a true #1 and 3 more starting WRs, nobody is stepping up, nobody is getting open, on literally every play they are all blanketed by single coverage

Mason needs more starting caliber WR weapons, a #1 RB and another TE

Thats a decade of draft picks, they better get started quick

As usual, the coaching overvalues all its players, no matter the production, and the fans swallow it

Not to worry Spike.....from the looks of things right now, we got some very high picks coming next year.

Well if our 100 million dollar Oline could run block at all, that might help some. Quit going empty set formations that might help. Use combination routes, that might help. Yeah I agree the WR's aren't stepping up, but the coaches can help.
Holton missed timed his dive yesterday and the ball went right through his wrists, not his hands, his wrists. I know that's Ben's fault he over threw him, I'm sure, but the ball was there, he has to make that catch and we are in the redzone.

I am hoping DJ breaks out soon...

The reason Moncrief was out there was because he was a vet, pure and simple. The young guys have no track record, they were just playing the odds

Obbbbbbbbbbbeously MonGrief was signed to be a leader, in dropped passes

Given the opportunity both Washington and Johnson could be that guy. We will never know until they are given the reps it takes to find out. ONE thing we do know is Dislocated dropsie Moncrief is exactly that and he doesn't need more reps to prove that.

EDIT: I was excited thinking Moncrief would be a good solid signing based on his 1yr with Luck but I'm seeing my clairvoyant-ism wasn't working in that regard.

I think Washington has made some plays. I would put him in at #2 and tell he and JuJu to light it up.

Hopefully Roethlisberger gets back soon and they can start carving out an identity on offense. And finally, commit to the ******* running game. In years past Tomlin has been lambasted for running his back to death, now he won't even give them a chance to get rolling.

Anybody wanna guess how many games China Doll Connor will be out with the knee?

Rudolph seemed to connect well with Washington during the pre-season, maybe he'll be his go to guy next to JuJu?

Watching Mahomes yesterday, he hits the deep pass - spot on, to perfection - pretty much every time. I mean, the receiver just keeps running and the ball is directly in front of him, about 6" away, so all the guy has to do is put his hands out.

Wait I was told that OLine was the sole reason for the guy who plays for the Jets success

Because losing Munch would have NOTHING to do with their decline?

Washington has looked damn good when given the chance, DJ is running very good routes, Switzer is catching what's thrown his way, but he's usually 3 yards from the LOS, Samuels has caught the ball well, even though he's a RB, and JuJu has been doing well, so I'd say we can let mister Brokefinger Driopsit sit on the ******* bench till we can rotate him back in,.
