Mock the mock

I should have stressed that the picks that I posted are the ones that the person who created the mock chose.

I'd be stunned if we took a CB high. It's one of the few places where we have plenty of depth AND talent. And while we have struggled at RB I think that they don't draft one until much later. I think we're more likely to see an elite WR that has slipped or for us to be part of the interior lineman run.

So by position I think it's probably:
- WR / OC / OG
- WR / OC / OG (whichever one we didn't take in the 2nd)
- DL
- OLB
- RB / TE
- RB / TE

I haven't been following the draft closely enough to make educated choices on the players this year but that would be about where I'd place the priorities for the team.

#49 Dobbins, RB
#102 Greenard EDGE
#124 Biadasz IOL
# 135 Davis-Gaither LB
#198 Thockmorton RT/IOL
#2322 Jauan Jennings WR

Interested in why Dobbins. What do you prefer in what he brings to the table?

I think he has good vision and will bottomed out as a solid RB. I like his production and the college he is coming out of have produced some solid pros. I think he has a good chance at staying healthy in comparison to some of the other slight of frame prospects and I like his hands better than a few of the Steelers perceived top options. I see him as a safe pick with a higher floor than again some other top options. The only other back that I like is the LSU kid but I am liking Dobbins a little more...

Thanks for the explanations. No WR for you..? Do you think we're OK as we are there?

I liked what I saw from Washington and Johnson especially considering who was throwing them the rock. I feel JuJu gets a new contract this summer and all three of them are 23/24 years old. Pair that with the fact guys like KJ Osborn and Dezmon Patmon go undrafted I feel we would be able to bring at least one developmental prospect on board.

It's the slightness of frame that bothers me most. I saw him in the National Championship Game and really liked what I saw but if we're spending a premium pick we can't have a back that's in the tub all the time.

Futu would I see line up next to cam in the nickel to push the OL back to so Bush and Williams have clear lanes to rush or stuff the run.
when we use the base 34 he would be playing there and in the dime DE Watt DT Tufu DE DT heyward LB Dupree LB Bush with tyson and Tufo rotating regularly to keep cam and tuitt fresh

Come on, you can say it correctly at least one time LOL futu, tufu tufo; it's "Fotu" hehehe

Slash made already a hell of an explaining on Dobbins skills, doesn't drop the ball like Taylor and is pretty good at protecting the QB which is vital for us, few of the top RBs in the draft can offer that from the get go.

That is the knocks on Taylor his hands and the tread on his tires. I think Gordon was from Wisconsin but I can't think of many notable backs out of there in the NFL. I think the cheats White. Regardless that has to be factored in too. Not enough to say man don't draft him, but enough for me to look towards other RBs that I live more. With how teams overreact to good combines as I mentioned he should be off the board anyways.

I doubt an imbecile like yourself could string three sentences together. Drink Iron City must have helped you.
It's time to adjust the satellite dish on top of your trailer and feed the dogs living under your porch.

A very weak troll. Is that the best you can come up with?

Your mom gave me the trailer so I can't complain. She does not live under the porch, I just store her there until needed. Little put off with you calling her a dog, I make sure she brushes her tooth at least every other day.

Oh lord. Another newbie troll thinking their words carry more weight than people that have been here for YEARS...
