#124 - Van Jefferson, Florida, WR
#135 - Harrison Bryant, FAU, TE

Love these two picks.

I think an OFF playmaker is taken on one of the first two picks........... J. Taylor would qualify under that category for me
Harrison Bryant is one of the TEs I do like in the draft and where you got him sits well with me

One thing that has been totally ignored in your draft is the OL and DL which are the primary concerns for me this year
I would be totally surprised to see the team neglect to draft C/Guard especially

49 RB Taylor Wisconsen
102 NT/DE Leki Fotu Utah
124 OG Bredeson, Michigan
135 WR/TE Moss LSU I would use him as a SE

For who should be there with a combination of Steelers need and personal like Dobbins is one of my favorites. They shock me sometimes but I think it is Dobbins or CEH or T Cleveland or WR Reagor. in 2..

RB Taylor probably can be thrown in but I expect him to be off the board.

Let's see if they fool me this year...

We must suffer from the same problem...... extremely High IQ......haha....

Yeah you don't see Swift make it to the 2nd round often ...but Miami selected JK Dobbins and Tampa took an OT Swift has low mileage

I am really curious as to what WRs will be there mid 2nd .....I can think of 10 possibly 12 that could be off the board before our pick

What's up with the Mooney kid can you throw some info on what you like about him...

He's a quick twitch sub 4.4 guy and we need a slot. He is also really good at gaining yardage after the catch. He's the type of receiver the Steelers look to take late in drafts. Good hands, good route running, explosive. He does need to put on some weight as he's currently 5'10" 176, but at least he's not one of those 155 guys...

Who I think we'll take:

2. WR Jalen Reagor, TCU
3. LB Alex Highsmith, Charlotte
4A. TE Albert Okwuegbunam, Missouri
4B. DT Benito Jones, Ole Miss
5. RB Lamical Perine, Florida
7. Yasir Durant, Missouri

Wanted to explain my picks.

Taylor IMO is the best back in this draft. Why? Look at the other top backs. Swift is 5-8 and the feature backs that were 5-8 or less Sanders, MJD and Ray Rice. So few and far between. JK Dobbins is a limited athlete. Taylor checks the boxes physically and productivity wise.

Leki Fotu gives us a true 0 gap that can eat up blocks and push the pocket from the middle. Not a Hargrave replacement but I feel a McCullers replacement and the team will use a combination of Heyward, Tuitt, Aluala, and Wormley take Hargraves place in the passing situation.

Okwuegbunam is likely going to sit at #3 or #4 at this point. But he could move up the chart dramatically next year because Ebron and McDonald both are expendable. If you look at our team we haven’t used a high draft pick to develop a TE since Heath. This is a solid mid round pick that has starter potential.

Alex Taylor is an intriguing prospect. He’s a former power forward we elite footwork and athleticism. He’s raw but with Feiler, Banner, and Villanueva all free agents after 2020 giving him a year of NFL coaching and training could turn a 4th round pick into a starting LT.

Weaver is a tackling machine and reminds me of dirty red with much better athleticism. Should be a core special team player and I could very much see him take over for Vince Williams role in 2021.

Kyle Murphy is an intriguing player. Dominated at Rhode Island and has elite athleticism. Should give us some nice depth at OG/OC and might develop into a starter in 2022 if DeCastro leaves.

Such a high pick on a NT that has zero chance on moving to DE doesn't work for me. Value would be 6th round for a limited snaps player in our scheme, would be like investing a 3rd rounder on a fullback that rarely sees the field

I see what you are saying but the value is there as he takes McCullers spot and probably plays closer to 20% of the snaps for 1/2 the cost of McCullers. Also, knowing who I can draft later I get Weaver and Murphy rounds after they should have been drafted.
