MNF Chiefs vs. Giants

His footwork is a mess, and I think it's partially the same reason Ben looked so off early on. He doesn't trust his line to not get him hit. He's rushing his throws, not setting his feet. And really he's only looking for Hill and Kelce. Hill had 18 targets... They aren't as deep in the skill positions as they were last year and the year before.
 
I think Kelce has lost a step. Also, their OL is not good. It is all on Mahomes to make plays happen. The coaching looks awful too. Maybe part of why they are losing is because instead of working on fundamentals, they spent practice time installing a bullshit play that revolved around Kelce taking the snap and doing a behind the back lateral to Mahomes. Great use of practice time there.

If Kelce has lost a step then you just take away Hill. Sure he's good but you can take away any player if he's the only real option. They don't have a reliable #2 WR.

Are you saying Mahomes is having difficulties "carrying" his team................... ?


Ben Roethlisberger had way less to work with in the past and yet was able to carry his team. Today BEN canNOT carry his team but at Patric's age he did.

Personally I don't feel bad for anything Chiefs demise. These young guys get so caught up in the me ME me and forget they have to play football which is what got them to where they are.

Ben's worst year is the one when he kept trying to force it to AB. His highest INT numbers at least. If you become one dimensional in the passing game, teams will make you pay for it.

I think they like those BS plays just like Mahomes likes to throw the ball underhanded or do his "no look" passes. They'd rather do that than straight up football that actually moves the chains. The Chiefs also have people movers on the interior of their offensive line and yet refuse to commit to the run.
 
I think it is a combo of everything for the Chiefs. Mahomes has a lot of outside distractions w/ the brother / fiance / baby / marketing. The Chiefs basically ditched their whole Oline and the new one is not very good either. Mahomes is gunshy after the super bowl beating he took. Teams are following the TB blueprint and KC has not caught up yet. They also do not have a good #2 WR. I bet JuJu is wishing he landed there now. KC needs to shorten up the offense instead of looking for the big plays constantly. It is going to get Mahomes killed. I still think KC is a dangerous team. If the line gels and Mahomes gets hot they will be a tough out. Better to peak late than now.

Don’t get me wrong… that wasn’t great… but Bens worse year was when an old lady drove him over and he had his mouth wired shut and lost a ton of strength right before the season then tried to play his way back into shape and not change his style
 
I think we've done better with our OL change ovr than the Chiefs have done with their OL overhaul.
