That just brought back a childhood memory. As a kid, we could go to A&W to eat and you could buy a gallon jug of their root beer to take home. So delicious!

Is that where you can pull up outside and they bring your food outside? If so same gallon deal good memory.
I remember 1 time they put the gallon deal in the backseat with my brother and I. We crushed the gallon on the 5 mile drive home

Our step dad beat the **** out of us for it, but still worth it

The only A&W I've eaten at was at Changi Airport in Singapore.
It looked like a regular burger but the meat tasted weird, like the cow was grazing on something we don't have here.

In Canada it is grass fed beef ..............maybe they feed them a different kind of Grass in Singapore

Yeah it used to be drive up style for years .... every Sunday afternoon a 7 foot GREAT ROOT BEAR would stand by the roadway waving people to come in

I don’t proof read, I have some issues with my fingers / hands / my auto correct gives me some funny stuff at times………

I eat / drink them all, and when I was a kid, my MoM made home-made root-beer (BEST EVER).

Do they have A & W in Canada and is it open to the public ?

recipe in Canada is different from the USA ..... cane sugars are used here ........... as opposed to high fructose corn syrup
