2nd- Pouncey should be suspended (depending on what the rules are for kicking). It doesn't matter if the kicks weren't effective. Rules have to be followed. He also threw punches. They sure didn't hurt the guy but that is irrelevant. Just like if you have helmet to helmet contact they don't look at the guy to see if he is hurt before throwing the flag. They won't look to see if Garrett is hurt to hand down punishment on this.

3rd- Rudolph did grab the back of Garrett's helmet. But that doesn't give Garrett the right to pull off Rudolph's helmet and hit him with it. After his helmet came off he shouldn't have gone after Garrett. Seriously what is he going to do if he catches up with him? Rudolph has to keep his cool.

4th- The player that hit Rudolph in the back should be suspended a game.

Fact is that each one of these players has responsibilities. And you can criticize them individually without absolving the other. For any former or current player to absolve Garrett because Rudolph grabbed the back of his helmet is just ignorant. They should STFU.

exactly. As a Steelers fan, I was just as disgusted with Pouncey repeatedly KICKING Garrett in the head. ****** just shed his uniform and went all Aaron Hernadez. Garrett, IMO, should miss at least 6 games (precedent set with Haynesworth) if not the rest of the regular season.

Pouncey should miss at least 3-4 as well.

I didnt scroll back, but did anyone bring up the fact that the ref who watched all this happen didnt throw a flag for a late hit?

Not sure how I feel about pressing charges to honest, but I think the scenario you've proposed may be the best for everyone.


Edit: I don't think Garrett should play again, but I'm biased. But I did feel the same way about Haynesworth when he stomped on that dudes head with out his helmet on.

Pouncey has enough money to cover any fine. He needs to use some of his money to buy an anchor to put in the back of his pants so he'll stop getting pushed back.
 
Ryan Clark blames Mason for being the aggressor, causing the fight, but Miles should be suspended for a long time but its not criminal

Pouncy kicked once. Didnt connect. imo he should get 1 game.

yup Mason is the aggressor after being driven into the ground a good 2 seconds after he already threw the ball and it was quite obvious of the fact as well.

Garrett should get the rest of the season, Pouncey should get 1 game for the punches and kick. The browns DL that pushed Mason down after should get 1 game as well.
 
I don't know what some of these analysts are looking at in blaming MR for anything. Garrett went after MR and wanted to punk him bad. Mason tried to defend himself from this criminal piece of **** so Garrett tried to murder him.

wouldnt surprise me if Rudolph gets suspended too for being the instigator in the brawl that is tarnishing the shield so badly the national news shows are headlining it right under the impeachment investigation

In my opinion he should get a game or two at the absolute most. Hell his kicks didn't even land solidly since Decastro and one of the stains was in his way
 
Someones gotta say it.....Before Garrett popped him in the head with a helmet, I believe many Steeler fans wanted to do the same thing to MR....

Myles Garrett – Remainder of 2019 season
Maurkice Pouncey – Three Games
Larry Ogunjobi – One Game

If Pouncey is getting 3 games then Garrett absolutely must get 8, pushing it into next year.
