For a late round pick in the 2015 NFL Draft!

His father mentioned he was interested in the Vikes because they basically said to him....you don't need to live up here....just play up here!

Apparently they failed to mention to him that the Vikings have one more season in an outdoor stadium before their new stadium is completed in 2016!

OH MY!

He was always a slacker and never fought for the football!

Glad he's no longer a Steeler!

I think it's safe to say they wanted rid of him judging by the compensation....or lack thereof.

Yep. i think this has been covered already. For the most part I believe most on here would agree with you.

Well he difinately didn't want to fight for the football in siemi warm weather, imagine what he'll be like fight for it while shivering......

Salute the nation

Isn't the new QB up there a big time slinger?

Vikes must not think too much of Cordarelle Patterson. Word is his problem is he's dumb as a stump and can't learn a playbook. Maybe they trade him now because it seems he and Wallace are the same type speed WR.

Patterson needs a team that will go old school with him, like Better Off Dead. "Go that way, really fast, and if something gets in your way,,turn."

Ouch, this HAS to be Patterson related. We don't need both of them. That said, I sure hope MW can sync up with Teddy. Bridgewater's just going to get better - he just got done with his rookie season. (I can think of another QB that started most of his rookie season and did pretty well)

Welcome to the Vikings, Cold Money Mike.

I don't have the issues with Wallace that most here do. He isn't the complete WR that Brown is, but he gets into the end zone. He scored ten TD's last year, he isn't some scrub.

Make that a 5th rd draft pick - that's middle rds to me, not late

Vikings acquired WR Mike Wallace and a 2015 seventh-round pick from the Dolphins in exchange for a 2015 fifth-round pick.

Could we get a starter in the 5th on defense?

Would it shock anyone if New England now makes a call and gets Patterson for like a 5th round pick just to run 9-routes and deep crosses and kick return?

He'd probably catch 60 balls and 10 TD's for New England....

He half assed his last year here trying not to get hurt, and whined about not being "in the game enough to keep his focus" **** him. The issue I have with him is he spent his first deal here, and turned down Browns money, looks like we should all be ******* thrilled he did, who do you think pulls a bigger offer right now if they hit free agency with no strings, him or AB? Yep, we paid the right guy, even if it was kinda by accident.

**** you Mikey.

Joe

I remember someone saying who was going to replace those TD's on our team when he left. Sometimes it just all works out. Like Cotchery the year after. As a team we are going to get the TD's. Just a different jersey number will be catching them.

Good thing he didnt end up in Baltimore, even if he isn't all pro he would make a nice pairing with joe "go long" flacco

I'm one of those. However, I doubt anyone expected Cotchery to grab 10 in a year and we lost him, too.

Considering that a big part of the Rats' passing game is drawing long PI penalties, you're probably right.

Yep. and then someone else stepped up and got them.
