I think it's a good move. Always considered his draft analysis to be one of the most accurate.

Glad i won't have to listen to him do the combine anymore. He was constantly talking about "bubble butts" and "big trunks".. he likes dude's *****, that is for sure.

I always find it interesting when GMs or coaches go from TV back into the game. Things become different when actual games are at stake.

Between him and Gruden, they're going to be watching film on a slide projector.

Personally I think he is very smart, but yeah critique and being the actual decision maker are two different things.

Could work or could be a total disaster

My NY Mets just hired a sports agent as their new GM,so far he’s made a few good moves and put everyone in the division on notice saying their the team to beat

It could all blow up on him but I love the aggression

I like this move. I always liked him as an analyst on Notre Dame games. I rather listen to him on draft day than Mel ******' Kiper.

I will agree with this. He knows more than Kiper and McShay will ever know. Those two are a complete joke.

What coach didn't chime in on his boy? Maybe mourning.

I like Mayock personally and thought he could be a GM one day. He has cooled off a bit lately though on his forecasts. We'll see how he does as a professional.

The Raiders have tons of early picks in the draft. It won't be hard for Mike to shine.
