Here is an article that thinks Mike Adams looks good going through some drills as a TE.

Physically he looks good, but the only thing I like about him is his height. His hands looks stiff and so do his hips in and out of breaks. He also looks slow.

He is at an extreme disadvantage since TEs from college have thousands of reps catching balls. TEs usually have better hand technique than most WRs, and they have to, because they have to beat contact, make a move, and then present their hands quickly to receive a pass. Without proper tech, their hands wouldn't be ready, and they'd put balls on the ground. Good college TEs that make the NFL have those hands, with few exceptions. Personally, I think Adams value would be as a blocking TE, but I wouldn't trust his hands over someone I have film on, to be my blocking TE.

Yeah when I saw that video I was like this cat doesn't have the quickness to be a TE.

But it is good to see him in good shape. That will help him from a health standpoint.

Meh. If someone is looking for a blocking TE. Maybe. They are a few of them out there still......I think. Doesn't hurt a team to bring him in for training camp for a looksie.

He lost a ton weight. Damn!
Wouldn't mind bringing him in for a look.

He was never used properly the first time around.
Players always look better in the black & gold.

He didn't have the quickness to play Offensive Tackler either.

stricky blocking te for short yardage sets

You’ve got to be kidding! This cat fooled the Steelers that he could be a tackle in the NFL so no chance he fools anybody he can be a TE. Not even the Browns.
What a horrible 2nd round pick he was.

um, **** no

The things he has going for him is he’s 6-7, with 34” arms and 10 7/8” hands. That puts his height at 96th percentile, arms 85th percentile, and hands 99th percentile vs other tight ends. I doubt he gets a shot but as a camp body for the right team maybe he’s a 3rd TE that can be used in goal line packages.

I thought blocking wasn't his strong suit.

Puff puff pass

Hard pass but glad to see he’s trying and in shape. I could see someone being intrigued with him as a red zone target since he’s such a big fella

he was solid in college, I dont think after he was attacked the internal injuries he fully recovered, he played the season with the wounds not likely fully healed he went from 325, likely to 300, I think mentally he rushed back, I hope with his 2nd chance he makes better use, as there red flags all over him before the draft but he begged tomlin and Colbert to take him and he just did not pan out. at 6"7 255 now he could be useful asa incline blocker and if he can get seperation maybe who ever takes a flyer on him may try some trick plays or just a jump ball target.

He is slow as molasses. He would have trouble getting open against a tackling dummy.

Pass...........on him,.............not to him.±!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
