8-0 for the first time in Steelers' history....not too shabby

just gotta go out and keep winning the battles.

A win is a win. I don't think the remaining members of the '72 Dolphins are worried just yet though.

The local media still gives these old men air time when a team hits 9-0 or 10-0. With Cincy and Jax next, I think the Steelers will be 10-0.

Cam's quote sums it up nicely "we hold ourselves to a higher standard than anybody else"

To bad the media (especially ESPN) couldn't do the same.

Coach, it's one game at a time but I see still winning in our future.

Salute the nation

A win is always pretty.

Cincy is always tough. It's a division game. IF Ben plays our chances of winning improve markedly.

Obviously Vance McDonald is out so Ebron and the Gentry need to step up.

Would be great if our running game came alive.

You don't bring your record out on the football field with you. You have to find a way to execute and beat the team you are facing on that day. This is the best passing attack we have faced all year, so I'm apprehensive.

I feel the Steelers will have to outscore Cincy, and that may mean scoring into the 40s. It's just a bad matchup. They have 7 receiving options over 6'2". The D has to create pressure and TOs to win this game, otherwise it may be long day for our secondary.

This game like all others is about controlling time of possession, taking care of the football and letting our defense do their thing. Our defense has gotten worked some when our offense has had short drives and sputtered, especially in first halves. We need to come out strong like we did v Tennessee and force the bungles into the passing game so we can pin our ears back. I see Burrows throwing a couple of INTs and definitely getting hit by Watt, Dupree, Heyward and Tuitt this game as often as possible. The X factor as always, is Big Ben. Will Ben play? Lets hope yes so we don't have to see Rudolph out there. We don't want to give any of the teams chasing us an inch this year.
