Miami Dolphins Vs Steelers Monday Night Pregame thread

That was off a last minute desperation back in forth tossing the football around which made it almost an incredible play. But yeah he just barely stepped out. That man had skills there was no denying that.
Brown was unbelievable to watch, sad to look at what his life looks like now.

Do not go to sleep on the Dolphins. No one is expecting anything from them so they will be loose and focused.
After a horrible start you have to give them credit for not tanking and continuing to fight.
This is a typical Tomlin scenario where they win a big game the previous week and have a letdown the following week.
Fins have solid running game and Steelers are one of the worst stopping the run.
Pay attention to Aaron’s blind side with the fourth string left tackle now your starter. Could be a big problem.
Dolphins will double up on Metcalf and force the rest of the horrible WRs to beat them.
Steelers should rely heavily on the running game this week, something they’ve seemed to abandon lately.
Where the hell is the rookie RB Caleb Johnson?
Where is Roman Wilson?
Why are they neglecting Muth?
Be careful guys. I absolutely do not trust this Tomlin led team.
With Jones, Anderson and Washington injured, Steelers cannot run the ball out of the Jumbo.
These injuries seem like the death blow to an already struggling run game.
I am struggling to see how we stop Achane. He has been consistently great this season, His whole career really.
He is most of the offense, stop him we win.

Steelers rarely lose on Monday nights.
Dolphins rarely win when the temp is below freezing. It’s gonna be in the teens with the wind chill around 0.

Well we are 1-10 all time without Watt or something, but the Tomlin apologist will say, "well you can't expect him to win with back up LOLB" Like they say he shouldn't be expected to win a playoff game because of his QB's.
Apart from the 2023 Buffalo playoff game, this will be the first time Watt has missed a game since Herbig emerged (and even the 2023 playoff was Herbig's rookie year). Highsmith/2025 Herbig would have to be the best OLB pairing the Steelers have had when Watt has been out, so hopefully that translates into an improvement in the Wattless record.

Yeah, the drop-off isn't what it has been in
year's past with Watt seeming to have lost a step and Herbig emerging as he has.

Sawyer also provides additional depth they haven't had in prior years, especially when it comes to holding the edge against the run.

If any positive comes from losing Watt, it's that we should get a better idea of Herbig's ceiling and what they might have in Sawyer.
