Me'Von Bell. Good luck Jets.

Lest we forget...

After losing Coach Munchak --- our over running success has declined. Losing Bell hurt but he made that decision. I've moved on. Obviously Coach hasn't.

Go take a ride in your luxury car and cry about Chickaslow...

Chick was cut too BTW. By cooch's definition he was a draft bust.

Gase is a horrible coach. He's throwing a hissy fit because he didn't want Bell. Of course not because he has no idea how to use a versatile weapon like Bell. Gase is crippling the development of Darnold.

Just look at all of the Miami guys whose careers took off as soon as they got away from Gase. Tanneyhill, Kenyan Drake, Devante Parker all had breakout years last year. Gesicki had a good year at TE as well. Gase couldn't do a damn thing with any of them.

Now it seems Gase is playing passive aggressive mind games like he's a high school mean girl. He held Bell out of practice for no apparent reason.

It's not like the Jets have a better alternative. Frank Gore, really? Why not talk Curtis Martin out of retirement while you're ate it.

The Jets franchise hinges on the development of Darnold. You would think that having the most versatile RB in the game, who can pass protect and run routes like a WR would be the perfect thing to help a young QB. Nope.

I think you misremember. Coach had Chick as the next rising star at OLB on our team...
Oh I remember but his new definition is if they are cut they are a draft bust. So his next rising star is now a bust due to his definition of.[emoji28]

I've said before that Mikey Cool Shades is easily a top five coach in the NFL. Not so much that he is a great coach but that there are a lot of bad coaches. This isn't the 70's when you had five to seven future hall of fame head coaches on the sidelines every week.

Pretty sure this is a Steeler board, it's why I show up here at least.

A-N-D here I thought you were here to discuss luxurious vehicles such as my Chevy S10, which is usually the only one in the parking lot......

I remember when he was pimping Bo Lacy. Dude ate himself out of the league in 2 years! HA!

Don't even get me started on how hard he wanted Randy Gregory when we got Dupree.

I forgot about Randy Gregory! That tirade got close to Me'Veon levels. There are so many of them that it's hard to keep track.

*Cue Coach to come in and tell us all about how he's gotten so many others right and we're only jealous we don't have his YT highlight-watching, throwing lots of **** at the wall skillz.

I'll see your bet and raise your S10 with my '76 Fiat.

Mine is a '97 with approx. 178,000 miles but here is the kicker.................... 2 wheel drive...!!!

ALSO I have an 8" STEELERS decal on passenger side rear window.

Tell me that T'aint luxury !!!!!!

YES, it is the ONLY one of it's kind in the parking lot.

278K on mine, barely broken in, Stiller front plate and hitch cover. Fiat only 54K with Steelers emblazoned across the back of the roll bar. Talk about luxury!

What kind of Fiat Zona? I learned to drive stick on my then girlfriends ‘76 fiat convertible, made me fall in love with convertibles. Bought a 1969 chevelle malibu ragtop, absolutely loved that car.

Drink....I drove my little purple S10 up till 4 years ago,I loved that little truck. 2 wd as well.

Now I drive my 1983 633csi on sunny days, my ford ranger 4wd as my main.
The 633 only has 170,000 kilometers in lovely shape 5 speed.

Eerie how many ex-Steelers leave for the $$$$, but never regain their on field glory, and are soon out of the league.

Most of them.

What kind of Fiat Zona?

124 Spider that I bought new. Wanted a 'vette but they didn't make a rag top that year and were absolute boat anchors HP wise.

Hindsight, should have picked up a used 71 big block, but the spider drives like it's on rails, so all is good.

My little S10 is so easy, it's stick and you can hot rod the hell out of it and never hurt anything. What I mean is go through the gears and down shift, kindA like racing but Remeber it's just a 4 cylinder and JUST FUN AS HELL TO DRIVE. It gets 22-28 mpg pending on load. It's a farm / ranch / KAYAK / work / junk TRUCK.

But MOST important is that it is a luxury vehicle, don't lose sight of that..............

Love it

Yeah, but Coach has this obsessive thing with Bell (dates back to his time on Jim Wexell's board days). See, Coach wanted Eddie Lacy so badly over Bell that it probably kept him up nights. He even actually made the declaration after a few years of their time in the league that Eddie Lacy was still the better back.

So unfortunately, anything negative regarding Le'Veon Bell is going to be regurgitated by Coach. While the rest of us have moved on, someone still resides in somebody else's head in a bad way.

Yeah, but Coach could drive the soy boys at Wex's board absolutely nuts in kind of a reverse EF Hutton kind of way. There were many there with CoachDS and Coach was like catnip to their sensibilities. He occupied space in their heads.

Of course maybe I'm biased because Coach and I are both expatriates on Wex's No Fly List for our political views lol.

Had a '90 S-10 with the 4.3 L V-6 and 5 speed -- probably older than yours. It would scratch 2nd and 3rd and really light the tires up with the light rear end. Fun trucks to drive!

Then the Syclones came out in '91...

Bell AND Brown had the perfect scenario here. They had a tough QB who made everyone better & put up with alot of bullshit until Browns finally pissed him off & Ben said "Get him the **** out of here"...

3 potential HOF's playing together at QB, RB, & WR...But 2 of the 3 didn't realize how together they could have re-writtten history. You couldn't stop ALL THREE...

The Killer B's could have gone down as the greatest QB, RB, & WR of all-time. I hate what ifs, but "What if" these guys stayed around and we had the Killer B's with that Killer D last year?

Probably would have gotten beat by Belicheat and Br*dy in the AFCCG because MT still can’t figure out how to beat them.
Hoodie: “Hey Mikey, you won’t need game film because we’re gonna throw short and medium passes over the middle all day, okay?”
Mikey: “Okay.”

"Their body of work is on tape. It's not about them, it's about us. Collectively and as individuals, we own that that performance and do not apologize for it."

"I'm eager to see what the men will do on Sundays in empty NFL stadiums in 2020. Our story is being written."

Wex's board, was a bit more than a no fly zone. As a two time DWI loser who had a lot of issues, Wex never gave anyone a chance for redemption. You figure he should have. If said anything negative on Tomlin for example you were out even if it was warranted.

Munchak didn't want to play for Tomlin anymore. If he missed his family, why did it take so long to move on? Yep. I almost never hear a positional coach say I cannot be here anymore, I miss my family.

I warned everybody losing Munchak would hurt. When Bell was hurt or suspended, I pointed out Bell's back up did just as good. In some cases better.

Bell's an over rated player who happened to play when our line was at its peak with pro bowlers, flanked by excellent weapons and Ben. As predicted he won't be as good on another team, and proved his low worth in one of his prime years. He could be 3rd on the depth chart in NY. I predict a sub 1,000 yard season for Bell, with a lowly yards per carry under 4.0. The Jets are stuck with him this year. Good luck Adam Gase!

As a man Bell lied to his teammates and coaches while mocking 4-20. I'll leave his relationships off the field alone as titles his own business.
