The Pittsburgh Steelers signed S Jordan Dangerfield and WR L'Damian Washington to Reserve/Futures contracts Thursday, Jan. 8.

We're watching Washington is super deep dynasty leagues. His game is about speed, speed and more speed. He has good size at 6'4" 195 pounds, but his 9-inch hands give him problems with drops. Originally a 2014 college free agent picked up by the Dallas Cowboys after the draft, Washington has bounced around to four different teams in his rookie year.

Washington is loco fast. But at 6-4, 205, he seems far too slender to make it in the NFL. His highlights contain few highlights. And he has small hands. I don't see him even making the practice squad to be honest.

The Steelers have re-signed linebacker Terence Garvin to a one-year contract, the team announced today.

Garvin has played in 31 career games with one start. In 2014, he tied for the team lead with 15 special teams tackles. In his rookie season in 2013, Garvin totaled nine special teams stops. He originally signed with the Steelers as an undrafted rookie free agent on May 6, 2013, after being invited to the Steelers’ rookie mini-camp on a tryout basis.

The five players signed to Reserve/Future contracts are WR Brelan Chancellor, DE Matt Conrath, S Alden Darby, TE Michael Egnew and LB Roosevelt Nix.

This seems very similar to an eyeball examination of the size of somebody's cranium.

9" hands are just fine, it's the fact that he body catches that causes so many drops. Antonio Brown's hands are 9", he doesn't seem to have too many issues there.

Now you're just being ridiculous, Bryant has already proven he can make in the league while Washington is an undrafted project. Doesn't mean he can't put on weight and contribute on some level. Whole point of futures contracts isn't it? Getting guys with potential and seeing if they can contribute in the "future".

Did you leave out Shamarko Thomas on purpose? What about Robert Golden? Ross Ventrone? All 3 excel on special teams and i think its time to see what Shamarko has as a full time starter. We cut Shaq Richardson with an injury settlement, he wont be back.

Shaq was orginaly on the PS. Apprarently he didnt impress and was waived with an injury settlemen, sometime in october, i beleive.
