Yeah, I think Tomlin gets a bad rap and is nowhere near the travesty the anti-Tomlin mob squad makes him out to be. Nonetheless, he's worn out his welcome and has shown an inability to make an accurate assessment of where the team is, where his coaches are, what needs to be done. Too much of the 'same old, same old' with him past few years. I think he bought into the 'Steelers way' a bit too much, took it overly to heart and hasn't been nearly brave or bold enough with most things under his control. Ce la vie.
While he's here I'll back him and hope he can win a few games this year. It seems his big chance to swing things around was a few years ago, but he naively thought he can continue down the same path and get different results.
And as far as the frothing-at-the-mouth Tomlin haters gathering pitchforks & torches, chill the **** out. Just cause other fans of the team don't share your vitriolic hate of the man doesn't mean we love the guy, or see no fault in his ways.
