By Matt Papiernik, @Matt_Papiernik on Twitter SteelerNation.com With the 2020 NFL Draft looming closer day by day, I am going to be doing a quick mock draft every Monday just for the Pittsburgh Steelers, utilizing the mock draft tool at thedraftnetwork.com. This is the second in this series, and unfortunately, compensatory draft picks will not […]

Albert won't last to the end of three but I like the pick. Clyde is growing on me, as some of the other RBs I have cooled on after looking at game tape closely. I still want Dobbins but not sure he will be there middle two.

Oh and Muse I can't argue with a late round pick on a Tarzan type of speed height prospect with some INTs on his stat sheet. I think he is strictly a FS type. He had some Jane type tape... But for a late round prospect we could do worse.

I like the first two picks, don't know much about the rest. CEH ran a little slow on the 40 but he is a serious playmaker with LBell like receiving skills out of the backfield. Gonna be a good one. Not sure your TE pick fits with the Steelers MO for the position but I like adding an actual playmaker at TE for a change. Who else did you consider in the second round if I may ask?

Which is great for the Steelers. He ran a 4.60, but anybody watching tape sees he plays much faster. He is not a big dude and probably not an every down back, but if he ran a 4.45, do we think he is there at the Steelers pick??

As an aside, watched the combine for about 15 minutes last night when WR's were running the 40. ESPN listed the top 7 all time fastest 40 results for WR's and ... look at that, not one goddamn WR among the top times became even average. NOT. ONE.

Simply underscoring, for about the 100th time, that the 40 time in shorts means very little compared to actual speed on the field, wearing pads, and getting hit.

whabbout punters who can bench?

Benito jones perfect replacement for hargrave might have to take Albert at 47, I would try moving up zach moss after and if bredason still nab as my next faneca /decastro G if not add depth OT like yasir Durant or LSU Shaddiq Charles and then target the usc Edge Rector or Minnesota edge rusher and then Bush ex teammate who replaced his spot in the wolverines as at Viper would add versaility and depth esp if we cant keep big red. rnd 7 Punter

That round 7 punter will be available as an UDFA, sarcasm or not.

Personally, I think that Albert is gone by 49...CEH, an SEC product, is a bigger J-Sam methinks adding a traditional RB, i.e. Dobbins, is the better option but I think TE or RB is the direction... if we stand pat at 49.

It would surprise me to see us drop down and pick up extra mid round picks.

If there is a good value big ugly for the Oline, I wouldn't be against that. They need depth and future talent at all three positions. I think the big Ragu is a no brain cut.

its if that 7th rond punter they will consider because everyone know berry sucks he cant punt to pin teams deep or kick diagonally well.

Everyone but the Steelers know that. We could also save a million on the cap by drafting Berry’s replacement.

Mann or Turk in round six.
