Marvin Lewis should be FIRED. That was disgraceful.

Does any of this surprise you????? Thes talking **** sticks personalize everything as if they know it as truth. We must have beat their collective ***** when they were playing.....!!!!!! Maybe if we didn't turn espn down in their inaugural year for an interview, they may have liked us more.

Salute the nation

It does seem like Faulk always likes to put down the Steelers

LOL. No doesn't surprise me a bit. They are both tools.

A point I'd like to make about Peezy and that whole **** mess. If Lewis had half a brain he would have pulled his players to the side AWAY from AB and said look it's a fifty yard field goal but we cannot give up yards here. Instead he let's them stand there where they are taking him off. That is on Lewis.

Lewis is one of the brightest Defensive minds of the past 20 years in the NFL. However the should have been fired when Chad Johnson threw a punch at him and the owner came in and neutered him in front of his players by forcing him to play Johnson in the second half regardless... hell he should have quit right there.... He lost the ability to discipline and the owner bring in rejects in hopes the talent will overcome all...

I hope he resigns today... honestly the guy would have been better anywhere else except maybe Cleveland

Marv took the worst team in pro sports and made a contender out of them. And he did it on the cheap with a some really ****** ownership. He's a good coach.

But he's tired. You could see it in that conference. He's too tired to chase after these young guys now. He needs to retire, or go somewhere with a strong GM that can take some of the disciplinary load of his shoulders and allow him to just coach.

Please keep Marvin Lewis.

As soon as my registration comes through for GoBengals.com I'm going to tell them that. Also that Marvin will be there for a long time because their owner is too cheap to pay two head coaches and Marvin will never be fired as long as he is under contract so they might as well get used to it. I wouldn't be surprised if Birthdefect and Pacman get cut though.

Per reports, Marvin is not in danger of being fired. That's good, they will lose their O-coordinator and keep Marvin...

Anyone catch AJ McCarron interview after the game? Saying it was raining when they had the ball and when Steelers had the ball it stopped. and the balls were very wet and the refs should have covered them blah blah blah excuse excuse excuse

God's a Steeler fan, what can you say? ;-)

I'm kinda torn and isn't this a repeat?

Part of me hopes Marvin gets canned, cause he does provide a lot of stability to the franchise and they do perform well in the Regular season. The Ravens are in tough and the Browns are an abortion. The Bengals stumbling really paves the way for easy division titles. HOWEVER, watching them fall like clockwork every early January is such a source of pure enjoyment, I'd hate to give that **** up.
On a side note (and I have a poor memory). Didn't they have a big thug linebacker that Marvin couldn't control and didn't basically cost them a huge game against the steelers before. I jsut found the whole trying to get Berfict under control and his whinny ***** presser to seem very dejavu.

Well Takeo Spikes was a D-bag if that's who you're thinking of.

I hope they keep MARVIN for a very LONG time.

this whole thread is about your post...doesn't need a new thread

Twitter posts claim that Marvin is totally safe in his job.... BUT EdWerner is saying that inside sources from the cinci locker room tell him that NIETHER 55 NOR 24 were disciplined for anything all year and the team knew they were getting further and further out of control...

Look, Marvin Lewis is a good coach, but he is spent and neutered in that city... The owner is a cheap assed douche and the team is out of control... He shouldn't be fired because brown will not find someone better, but Lewis ought to resign... or at least not take another extention... he could do better elsewhere

Having Marvin In Cincy and Flacco in Baltimore is like the gift that keeps on giving.

For what it's worth: Steven A Smith says he will never advocate for a coach to be fired until Marvin Lewis is gone because he can't make the case for any other coach to be fired if not Lewis.

I don't normally even talk like that. But this was some bullshit. Pacman Jones and Berfict were out of control. And on top of every thing else he LOST THE GAME.

Cincy's fans are even more disgraceful, throwing **** on the field and cheering Ben's injury. Cincy is ****, they've always been ****, and they hate us cuz they ain't us.

Ben has 11 playoff wins since 2004. Cincy has ZERO since the early 90s. Pitt has 6 rings, Cincy has ZERO. Marvin Lewis is 0-7 in the Playoffs.

**** falls and greatness ascends.

Fire Marvin.

Lewis once told the press its CInicnatti Police department is targeting his players. An utterly despicable thing to say.

remember:
http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/blog/sh...ad-Johnson-punched-Marvin-Lewis?urn=nfl,70610

After this Lewis supposedly wanted to bench Johnson and was ixnayed by Mike Brown the owner... he wanted him off the team and was basically overridden that offseason... he later got a fat extension and more say in personnel decisions, which is why he stayed I guess, but he did get his balls cut off and never had control of his team since then... they all know if you have talent the owner will not let you be punished

Deion said that he tried to pull up and avoid contact but didn't do it in time. Deion should look him up and give him some lessons on how to avoid contact. He was great at it.

Yes, I think he did........I believe it was in regards to Chris Henry...and happened at the same time as the locker room or sideline fight between Marv and Ocho.......which led to this little Gem.......
