Mark it down...

It just amazes me that we don't even know who we are playing for sure..players have not been thru camp yet...but we are gonna be 0-1 and get blown out by the Cheats...why do we even bother playing the games...lets just have Rog go down our schedule mark a W or L by each team and be done with it..what a ******* joke

You know that's how we roll 'round here!!!

Just telling it like it is. I don't want the Steeler D to suck against the Cheats, but reality is it has. Now, can Butler turn that around? I sure hope so, we'll find out this year.

You do know we haven't "started" next season yet, right??? Right now, the needle is pointing up!

Tough to beat a team at home on "Ring Night" Better to play it early. Thats when the cheats are most vulnerable.

Lets get our squad together and go through camp before we talk win/losses. I'd personally rather see the Jets or Bills have to go to NE on opening night when they celebrate their SB. While it could be nice to get them early when they are not jelled, the additional slobbering over them would be sickening, though.

Let's sign Kimo And have him take out Brady's knee. **** that prima Donna cheating ********.

What does that have to do with anything? I'm sure Brady & Co. will light up the scoreboard against us again. It doesn't change the fact that the NFL would rather have Brady vs. Big Ben than Brady vs. Geno Smith or whatever another garbage QB the Jets might start next season.
Unless we get a major infusion of talent on defense (not likely) or Butler works some magic (possible but not real likely), Steelers at Pats** will look like a basketball score with us on the losing end.

Terrible Podcast talked about this. They mentioned that the Pats haven't lost a week 1 at home since like 2000, Belichik's first season.

To add to to it...I'm sure we will be without LeVeon Bell.

Well predictions for the next season before the first snap of football is played is just ignant. If you are going to make a baseless ignant prediction at least make it a win for us.

Also the Belicheat & Brady combo is 5-2 vs the Stillers and 4 of the 5 wins were blowouts that made the Pats** look like they were playing a DII college team. I've said for years that they were LeBeau's Kryponite, and that's back when the D was good. I'll make my prediction now. Pats** 52 Haley's Comets 32. Whatever the point spread is, take the Pats**.

ill wait to see how free agency and the draft plays out

Leave all of the radios off,let Ben call the plays, run a fast tempo offense and we win.Bradshaw did it,so can Ben. I would never use any type of communications that could be picked up in that stadium. That includes the locker room as well.

Making it a win...on the road, opening night, against a team that usually embarrasses us, no LeVeon Bell, is IGNORANT. Love my Steelers to death but I also don't think its a coincidence every time we made it to the super bowl in the past 10 years we didn't have to play New England.

Obviously at this point we don't even know if it's going to happen but that would be a great ratings game for the NFL.

We'll see how Butler does. The gauntlet has been thrown down. I think DLB was only able to beat Belicheat and Brady maybe twice ever.

We are 2-2 vs the lying cheats over the past few years... If the field was fair I bet we would be 4-0... I think they have always cheated and will try to do so in thfuture with no success. Steelers 45-former cheats 9. AB has 4 tds

One of those wins are against Matt Cassell.

It would be good because it gets the Thursday night game out of the way. Won't have to worry about a short week later. The Pats are a tough game any week. Steelers aren't always great week 1. If they lose, they lose. Being 0-1 is not terrible.

The biggest obstacle might be that Bell may be suspended.

If Bell is suspended then the NFL may pick a different team. I'm sure the Rooneys would cry foul if they suspended Bell and then forced them to play the Pats without him. Then again, maybe this will be Goodell's way to get back on Kraft's good side after deflate-gate.

Agreed...if we start 0-1 on the road, without Bell, against one of our toughest opponents of the year, better to get it over with and outta of the way I guess.

Unless Bell will be playing defense, his presence will not stop a loss. Besides, he can appeal any suspension and basically pick which of the first 3 games game he'll miss.

Bell, or no Bell, our defense is the limiting factor in this equation.

Shouldn't be a problem since that feeble old man retired. I'm sure Butler's brand new schemes will befuddle Brady and co.

Well. It certainly can not get any worse....can it? I sure hope not in any case.

I think that's what the browns say every year....

Most people forget that in a couple of those NE losses Ben threw a pick 6 and the offense had several TOs. I also remember a punt return for a TD. It isn't just on the defense.

So you are saying there is a chance. . :)

That couldn't be because the Pats** knew what play was coming.

That sums up my answer. They called the plays out on the field. My answer for them would be to fight fire with fire since anything goes in the NFL.

Or we could smash Brady, knock him out for the year, and start playing mean football again steamrolling teams..
