28 year old FS with decent ball skills. Any interest?

There is definitely a couple issues to consider with Gilchrist.

Gilchrist signed with the Jets before the 2015 season and played 29 games with the team over his two years in Jersey before ending last season on injured reserve due to a knee injury. He was set to make $6 million in salary this year and the Jets will get $4.6 million-plus in cap space back as a result of his departure. The Jets waived Gilchrist with an injury designation and made him a post-June 1 cut, for salary cap purposes

If he's better than Mitchell, hell yes. I have a real problem with Mitchell's decision making on the field. He gets lured into too many traps and takes himself out of the play. That needs to change.

I think he improved A Lot as the season went on and that has a lot to do with Sean Davis getting minutes and experience at the Safety spot, same goes for Artie Burns.
Once Mitchell saw he didn't have to be looking over for both rookies he got to play His assignment improving his game.

I do agree with that until he looked like a chicken with his head cut off in the Pats game.
