So for people not in the know, it was a long term conspiracy theory that Lyme Disease was a government concocted bioweapon... it originated in the northeast coastal area where there was a government lab on a restricted Island just off the coast... in that Lab was an operation paper clip Scientist who was doing that kind of experiments.. and tge type of tick that carries Lyme is only from a specific region near Germany... there was no explanation how they got to the US...
the theory for decades now was that Herr Jackass brought his research from Nazi Germany here, and either they inadvertently escaped or were intentionally released in New England to see how it spread...
This was listed as utter fantasy by a great many anti conspiracy theory critics... well now it looks like it was true, just like the dozens of other such theories that follow this path...
Not every "crackpot" theory is true, but the number that are isnt zero and thats been proven time and again... the Government lies and covers up **** constantly.. people need to acknowledge that and safeguard against it the best we can... because some of it is really bad...
